Giving out fake ranks just shows how boring the Nintendo forum section is on VGC currently.

So what does one have to do to be 'Defender of Hyrule'?

I'm probably one of the biggest Zelda fans on here, I buy Nintendo systems solely because of the prospect of there being a Zelda game at one point in the future. Even if it's not yet announced, even if Zelda would be the only game on the system. All the (though excellent of course) rest is just bonus to me.

(Though maybe Veknoid should be it because he made the Official Zelda thread )

So a LOT of information about 3D World just came out. It's an interview with Shigeru Miyamoto, Yoshiaki Koizumi, and Kenta Motokura.

Highlights: Online multiplayer, DLC, comparisons between Mario games and sexy cat-girls.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Online multiplayer?^ I am sorry, but online just makes games a lot more fun. You can share you experience with others instead of sitting in your house by your self playing games like Zelda or Mario in the dark sitting next to a loaded gun. Streaming of games, multiplayer, etc is where it is all at. In the N64 days we used to make the trek to others houses to play the games. So let's just make it easier and do it online. Also the Wii days. Wii sports was great for that and Mario Kart.

New Wii U games are super cheap right now, even compared to it's 360 and PS3 counterparts. It is actually not a good thing because it shows retailers just want to get rid of them, but it is good for us!

Some of these games are brand new and only around 10 dollars plus a 3-4 dollar shipping fee. Buy them why you can before the Wii U get's hot again.

Pretty impressive numbers, taking into account that none of these games have seen a holiday season yet (except for AC:NL in Japan).
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon has some great legs, it'll probably sell more than the GameCube original by the end of the year. Donkey Kong is quite impressive as well, considering the original is only 3 years old and sold just under 6 million.

Did Nintendo release any data concerning Wii U software? I know I read total sales were close to 20 million but nothing game specific.
Also, did Wii U sell almost 10 million software units online or are the games heavily under tracked here?

Nice to see people take initiative to start a thread like this by the way. Wish I had more time to contribute. I'd also try and claim a title but I hardly game enough to justify that.

You seem pretty excited for the role, so go for it! Haven't seen Veknoid for a while, and not in this thread, so if he doesn't disagree then I'm fully behind you!
