This is made by a third party studio, they made nothing of note since Kirby's Epic Yarn. They have over 70 employees.

I was talking in general.. not all studios make new games all the time a lot help out to develop other games.. we dont even know about them except when we see the end credits :D i think it was monolith soft helping out to make SS and then they started developing XCX.

Monolith Soft also helped with ALBW, AC and Pikmin 3. Rumored to be helping Splatoon now.

Splatoon does look quite good, the more I see of it the more I like it.

Still going to take a little to persuade me to buy it, but they're going about it the right way.
