Don't give a rats ass. I still play on my Dreamcast almost daily.

Frame rate and effects > resolution

All of a sudden most of the fans of Godly console cares so much about 1080p lol

don't care about that stuff. I just like playing games for fun. I have a flat screen, but I don't have HD. It's good enough for me.

Yes, it absolutely matters.

I plan on placing a 80+ inch TV in the man cave of my new home.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Pretty important, but I can let ot slide a little depending on the game. It'll be really important when I upgrade my 47 inch to a 60 inch in the next couple months. 720p will probably be unbearable then.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

hmm, not to much. I didn't mind sub hd this gen, but next gen I expect alot more. No more sub hd. I'll let 720p slide though if the game still looks good. I do prefer 1080p, but it isn't a deal breaker by a long shot.

Cod gamer, 24" tv. sold my 40" because I noticed the bigger the tv, the more poorly I played so I don't plan on getting any bigger tv's at the moment. So no, it's not a big deal. here is the kicker.

I have no idea what res I was playing at all generation long. when I bought my 1st 360 I was playing on a SD tv and somebody told me I was wasting the experience using it, so I then bought a 19" hd tv (they were expensive at that time) I still ended up playing on that with av cables until I later realized the plastic hdmi cable in my box I ignored could give me video and audio with one cable, I noticed the image was clearer and prettier and was marveling at the grass in cod waw. It was that moment I realized I was in a new generation not gonna lie, but then I got shot. When I returned to killing people it all felt the same again.

so yeah, fun > retardedly looking around at visuals.

and I never knew the term native reselution existed until I joined this website last week. I had fun playing games before I got here so nothing here will change my gaming perception, the things people online talk about is entertaining to say the least.
