He said it to be spiteful to those who were saying they would just buy it on PC instead of an Xbox platform. Mostly in response to future PS4 owners. It was less about those who are simply buying it for PC, if at all, and more about the ones who were saying they planned on getting it for PC since it's not coming to PS4. The title was already long enough. I didn't want to clarify in the title who he was speaking to. I figured people would just read what the link showed and understand.

well all i got to say to that xbox one dev is fuck you, your make it seem like people are buying windows now just for TitanFall when that isnt the case at all. every sale on PC will bring Microsoft 0 dollars. Very immature thing from a company as big as MS to say, MS's PR lately has been horrible, worse than Sony in 2006.

ill be playing the best version of TitanFall of my PC. xbox one version wont even come close to what my Rig can do.

You really are going to blame "a company as big as MS" for what this one person said on Reddit, who is not a PR representive of them?

Please, stop, take a deep breath and think about that logically for a bit.

OT:  This hurts nobody.  Those that were complaining about the confirmed exclusivity were NEVER going to buy an Xbox One and I'd imagine that most aren't 360 owners either.  This is more overblown internet crap, including the reaction from this dev.

I'm enjoying seeing the hardcore Sony fans say how horrible of a PR comment that is. Number one, the dev person is not a PR person. Number 2, he is not insulting anyone, he's basically stating a true. Third, this is aimed at fanboys in general, not the general customer. I find it amazing how much funneling fans of the opposing console are. Please, go out and find another hobby. That kind of obsession is bad in anything you do.

Agreed.

That being said, Sooners suck.  GO MIZZOU!!!

It's not about derailing your thread. Look up any MS articles or Xbox games on Youtube and you'll see how tiring it gets when flocks of people with no self steem and confidence on their console of choice negatively comment and rate games that you possibly wantto acquire.

Let's be honest, we all mostly buy games based on peer reception and somewhat on reviews. When bunch of people make juvenile comments and shoot down any valid points to acquire games it gets tiresome.

Well the market and the consumers of their product can talk with their wallet or go to appropriate forums to talk about it.

All I've seen from some folks is troll and that's it. No constructive comment or anything informative were brought out to justify juvenile behavior on every media outlet.

MS simply had a different vision for X1. I was up in arms with the initial reveal also because I like to travel and I would want to bring my X1 with me outside of the 13 allowed countries.I'm an Xbox division customer but I didn't start stamping #dealwithit on every internet page. It was mostly not MS customers that did that.

It wasn't because of the tamper tantrum that MS changed their minds but the pre-order numbers spoke louder than some bullies on Youtube and every other gaming website.

And since the reverse of policies, MS has seen a steady grow on their pre-order numbers and relationship w/ consumers. Same with W8. Due to a smart way to talk to business institutions.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to constructively talk about it? Like I said. It works both aways. How many times has someone tried to talk about a shortcoming of the X1 and MS where someone immediately jumped their shit and defended MS as if it was their own mother and someone just called her a whore?

I understand that works the same for Sony but let's look at it this way. How many times has Sony made themselves look stupid compared to Microsoft? Which one of them has been consistent in its message and not try to bullshit its consumers? Which one of them came out right from the start and made it all about the gamers? The thing is, quite simply, that Sony has played this all so well that you really do have to grasp in order to try to find negativity. I'm not saying it doesn't exist but what is there is not as substantial as it has been for Team Green.

Meanwhile, MS's mouthpieces keep adding fuel to a fire that could have died a long time ago. Nelson... that guy just needs to shut the hell up. Seriously. A gag order needs to be issued on him. You're right. It wasn't internet temper tantrums that lead to changes. It was indeed pre-order numbers. Why were those pre-orders low? Internet temper tantrums that got the information out to millions of people in no time. It is quite effective to be loud about such things over the net. It is the most powerful communication and information sharing tool, obviously. Get even one person to find the dirt and suddenly the world knows about it.

Yes, Microsoft has seen some nice growth but they are also nowhere near out of the woods. I don't begrudge you for your choice. Nor any other person who decided to go to Xbox. I'm just not personally thrilled with how they've handled things.

Wow.  Where were you last gen when the PS3 pre and post launch were far worse than anything that MS has done so far ...?

MS has themselves to blame for the negative perception, no one else.

I think you may have misunderstood me there as far as the thread derailment comment.

I completely understand where you're coming from. It is annoying that you can't just have a good article about what you like without a ton of people making idiotic statements because it seems like that's the only thing in life that makes them happy. To shit on everyone else who isn't like them. Trust me, with some of my worldviews in the area I live in I get that all the time outside of gaming. At the same time though, like I was saying, you have to agree that also very often when someone makes a valid point about something that should actually be addressed it gets dealt with in the same amount of juvenile hatred. It's one of those vicious circles. I know. I get caught up in it too from time to time.
