You really are going to blame "a company as big as MS" for what this one person said on Reddit, who is not a PR representive of them?
Please, stop, take a deep breath and think about that logically for a bit.
OT: This hurts nobody. Those that were complaining about the confirmed exclusivity were NEVER going to buy an Xbox One and I'd imagine that most aren't 360 owners either. This is more overblown internet crap, including the reaction from this dev.
