RPGs don't need to be in 1080p because in RPGs the story, the music, the charatcers, and the way they play is more important then graphics.

This is strange. COD 10 looks current gen, it looks bad in all resolutions. Such a weak looking game should easily be done in 1080p on Xbone.

Meanwhile look at Ryse. Amazing grafix that you are hard pressed to find on any PS4 lunch title. And that's a game made by a multiplatter developer.

720p to 1080p is a huge difference.

The biggest problem that exists, certainly early in this gen is if the PS4 is more powerful (which it's looking like it is)... and its easier to get up and running, then its possible they would spend more time improving the XboxOne version, rather than spending that time making the PS4 version better. 

720 to 1080p is a massive difference, but if people cannot see the differences on video, then MS have won that resolution battle.

really? i mean, i find that not so cool but i don't really stop to buy an xbox one just because the multiplat games run better on ps4 or like always, on pc. aren't you more on the playstation side even without this? so that you would have bought xbox one only for the exclusives, media stuff or whatever?

Hahaha all these rumors coming true make me want an XBONE more. I'm really hoping I'll be able to find one at launch.

CoD 720p@60fps

Ryse 900p@30fps

That's the difference... 900p@30fps of Ryse is like 636p@60fps... CoD is rendering more stuffs than Ryse on screen... you can blame IW because the worst art style and graphics but CoD is rendering more than Ryse on screen.

well, i also like to play my pc games on my sofa and don't need a console for that. you also don't have to change your gpu every year. that is a big exaggeration as long as you don't want to play the games really in the sickest quality and also want to do some other stuff with it like cgi does. and don't tell me that it takes so much longer nowadays to start a pc which could be always connected to your tv to open steam big picture. driver updates are also not so horrible, maybe if you use multiple gpus...

if you would build a good pc now you don't have to buy a new one next year to play cod modern warfare 4 or whatever we will get then...
