Forums - Gaming - This BF4 gif explains the difference between PS4 and Xbone

Idk about the frame rate difference, that would be a big deal if not fixed, but all the AA and resolution stuff means jack shit when you can look at two pics of the game and they look virtually identical.

Exactly, hard to even guess what the difference is if you are  actually playing the game.  Apparently the hardcore fans will be making screen grabs and posting them to youtube to compare instead of actually playing the games.

It is near the end of the end....

Look at the canvas on the houses on the left. It's much worse detail on the Xbone.

I feel bad for Xbox fans. They get a marginally worse version honestly.

Neither version looks truly next gen though.

The PS4 image in that gif is sharpened manually to show the difference it makes in image quality, not how the PS4 version actually looks. It's an example of what you could do with your tv settings if you really wanted to.

No it isn't. It's an image of what the PS4 version actually looks like when you remove the mess up from DF. You CANNOT add detail, no matter how you tinker with settings. The image this was taken from made it look blury. This was done to prove the detail is there and will be seen when you play it on your TV. If people want it to look as bad as the X1 version, all they have to do is lower their TV res to 720p and up their contrast until you get that lovely crushed black effect. Sorry, but I have no solution on how to lower the framerates on the PS4 version though.

Ok. It's just sharpening the image. That's the point.

Shadowfall looks better by a mile and its 1080p. Even compared to PC version

Same picture from IGN Video Comparison.

Why has the PS4 so much less detail in the valley we look at?

So the "PS4 version will completely crush the Xbox One version" has turned into people having to edit the PS4 pictures to make them look better? Wow some people just can't accept being wrong.

Tell me those are doctored. The PS4 MP vids look on par and in some cases better than the XB1 SP vids. Especially at 1080p or 1440p.

It is funny. In another thread I said the X1 images look slightly better and I got called a fanboy and got all kinds of hate. As it turns out I was completely right because now images are releasing because DF messed up the PS4 version of shots. Now its easy to see who was actually in denial.

Both look great and any gamer wouldn't let minor details stop them from enjoying a game.
