Where did I claim that? The following picture is from a really old teaser for the game but who knows if it's what they're going to look like:![]()

That was written a year and a half ago. People have left since then too. Fact of the matter is, what made Rare good is no longer there. They might have various people left, but my point stands valid. |

Neither are from gameplay footage, but of course with N64 graphics, they would never look like they did in that second pic. They looked as close as they could with N64 power.
That's how they look in the Banjo Threeie trailer though...which was not above 360's power at all, and they could certainly end up looking that if the trailer is any indication. It's not horrible...they just look weird and...sterilized or something, I can't quite place it either.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

*Benkennobi shows Banjo how he looks at the N64 era and how he looks now*
You ask: "You're claiming the first picture is taken from actual gameplay footage or that's how they're going to look in the game?"
=> When his pictures are obviously not ingame...BOTH...

Also, lets not pretend the ex-Rare people are the only ones that can program a game. Kameo and Perfect Dark were obviously rushed games as they wanted them ready for 360 launch but despite that one can tell there is plenty of talent left at that studio.
I love how Wii exclusives like SSBM immediately get the recognition of being amazing on this site while Xbox and PS3 have to work hard to impress with their exclusives.
Sure, port Resident Evil 5 to wii...it will be amazing!!!

Well it is popular to hate Rare for Nintendo fans and this is a Nintendo populated site. If people earnest don't enjoy Rare games then they shouldn't be excited for Banjo, but were Viva Pinata and Kameo really bad games? I'm kinda tired of people acting like that...so I certainly agree with the first part of what you said. Ex-Rare employees aren't the only people that can make good games.
And since you bring up SSBB, that wasn't made by the same people as Melee, yet we didn't have everyone saying it was going to be ruined(and they were right not to). Rare just has a tough time with the Nintendo fans now.
