Lots of reasons to get both systems. Most of the reasons are completely subjective and really only matter to the individual. Better to ignore everyone else and buy it for your own reasons.
It is near the end of the end....

None of the OP reasons do it for me but I will still likely get a PS4 over a X1 because of friends, price and 3rd party exclusives.
or i can buy which ever one i want when ever i want yeah i think ill go with that way but enjoy your purchase hope you have years of fun with it

The games on all three systems are $60 when they release. Nintendo rarely drops the price of games they've published in comparison to the other first part y publishers. While the console itself may be the cheapest of the big three, I'd say that in the long run, Nintendo is going to be more expensive if you like playing first party.

So was the Wii U a year ago.
1. Its less money
2. Its more powerful
3. Sony has a better track record
4. Uncharted / The Last of Us / God of War / InFamous

free games and crazy sales on others is a pretty good incentive

very well then. Most powerful console of the big 3 this gen.
Hell, ps plus is enough for me to buy a ps4, £350 for a console and £35 for a year sub, £385 gets me 12 games approx free in a year, including the f2p planetside 2, dc universe and war thunder/ warframe / blaclight, hell you dont have to spend a penny more and you're set for the year
