I actually only see 2 reasons why anyone should get the PS4:
1st party goodness!
Great 3rd party support (and I guess indie games tie in to this one as well)!
C'mon people, it's all about the games!

Not a selling point but a cool feature. the ability to capture anything on screen. that combined with the ability to be a pass through display with anything with and HDMI connection makes for some good high def capture from a wide range of stuff. (finally the cod videos in my vault can see the world or vice versa) 5. Controller preference: I won cod tournaments on the 360 and got beat in the 1st round of a ps3 tournament from an average player because my big hands couldn't do anything with the toy of a controller design the ps3 had. 6. Titan Fall. I don't get much games but this one is a must have for a long running cod fan like myself. It's a cute idea that it will come to the PS4 later but I have two problems with that. *we don't no how long after it's xbox release in march it will take before it lands in the lap of PS4 owners, could be a few months, could be a year, could be never. * By the time that it does come it will be played out and the franchise will generally be considered an xbox thing. So just like call of duty, I expect to consistently see more people online on the xbox version. |
And people complain about threads which talk about the difference in power, cause they think Sony fans are trying to sell the PS4. I wonder what they would say about this post.

XB360 - 2005-2013 = 8yrs.
PS3 - 2006-2014 = 8yrs.

I don't think I follow you.
My personal, heavily biased reasons to get a PS4:
1. It's cheaper
2. It's from Sony
3. Killzone
Resons for me not to get an Xbox One:
1. Kinect
2. It's from Microsoft
3. No Killzone
It's really all a matter of opinion. There is nothing like completely objective reasons to get one console over the other. I mean, can't we all just get along? The PS4 may have the better specs, but it's not like the Xbox is as shitty as the CD-i or something. It's still a nice console every gamer on the planet should be able to enjoy.
