As well all know Sony have some great first party studios and also some great 3rd party studios who produce exclusives for their consoles. Games such as Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, Last of Us, Heavy Rain, Gran Turismo, Infamous, Little Big Planet, God of War just to name a few. While Microsoft have Titanfall, Halo and Forza and also Dead Rising 3. Other than that they really dont have a lot unless you like Fable or Ryse and to boot Titanfall will certainly make it to PS4 eventually as its published by EA and we all know how much they enjoy making money.

Microsoft have set up 3 big stupids and multiple others, there will be more than Halo, Forza and Fable this gen. This doesn't even include the multiple other studios they've set up.

So the three reasons are

1: First Party Exclusives

Completely down to taste.

2: Playstation Plus

Xbox Live is getting better in terms of offering free games (To keep forever)

3: Continued Support well after the console has served its purpose.

What exclusives does PS3 having coming next year? What did the PS2 have after PS3 launched? Past the first year don't expect exclusives from Sony for PS3, but it will get continued support in terms of selling the hardware and third party games, exactly the same as Xbox will ...

Now the third reason is the most important, Fifa 14 was thelast game for PS2 and Sony are still releasing games for the PSP 9 years on. And the PS3 is getting Gran Turismo 6 and 10 more exclusives next year. What has the Xbox 360 had recently? How long did the Xbox original last for? Exactly, buying a PlayStation gives you continued support.

So you're counting indie exclusives for PS3 but not for Xbox? Right ... stop cherry picking. PS2 had a massive userbase, of course it kept going, we all know why Xbox was shot down quickly. Won't be the same this time around.

Now fair enough if you like Forza and Halo but if they arent enough for you, then purchase a PS4 because even though the launch is weak itll get stronger as the years pass buy, plus its more powerful and cheaper.

So will Xbox One, you're being crazy if you think all xbox has is Halo and Forza ... Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break, Project Spark, all new IP coming in the first year.

Does anyone remember the PS3 launch?? Undoubtedly the 360 had the better launch lineup but now what would you say, the Xbox 360 or the PS3 has better games?

So go buy a PlayStation 4 unless you are in a major rush for Titanfall or a Halo and Forza fan.

Talking why you want to buy the Xbone is in no way related to the topic. You were given 3 reasons, you are free to discuss them, agree, disagree, give other reasons if you wish. What you have posted was off-topic, you didn't even relate to the points in the OP.

What I was referring to, were several posts in the "resolution" threads which were saying that (paraphrassing, I can quote if you wish) enough with those threads, Sony fans do it because they want to make others buy the PS4. And again I say I wonder, what would they say in this case, when in a PS4 related thread, you say why you would buy the Xbone, which I read as an agitation, selling the console for whatever reason you have, for the lack of a better word.

I would say the Free games that you get are extremely worth it, but that is just me. Do you not see any value in PS+?
