I own a gamecube with like 20 games I have acquired through the years and have yet to fully play anyone
I'm thinking I own it just as a collection type of thing...

I've been playing the GameCube version of Twilight Princess for the past week. And will be starting Tales of Symphonia and Baten Kaitos (both) shortly.

Well I do miss the days of Paper Mario being high tier. The series has pretty much gone downhill after TTYD.

oh this

Oh yeah Previously 100 percented Resident Evil and Resident Evil 0 and Super Mario Sunshine about a month ago. GameCube has been getting lots of love here.

I loved my Gamecube! I thought it was a very underrated system. So many great games.

Super Smash Bros. Melee - I can't tell you how many hours my brother and I put into Melee (Lightning mode all damn day!).

Animal Crossing -Left a special place in my heart. I played that game every day after school for 1 hour for 3 months straight. It was a genre of game that I've never experienced before and loved it from the minute I popped in the disc.

Resident Evil 4 - I never played an RE game before, but this one was getting so much hype and the graphics just looked amazing for it. So i decided to pick it up and I am so happy I did. It's one of my favorite games of all time and I beat it three times, and i never replay games.

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker - The Zelda series has been one that I could never get into. I played Zelda on NES when I was young, but I never owned or played LttP as a kid growing up, and I never played either of the N64 Zelda's. So I saw a preview of Wind Waker in EGM and I saw that it looked nothing like the previous Zelda's which intrigued me. After much thought I decided to take a chance with WW and OMG it was amazing!!! Currently sits as my 3rd favorite games of all time. Everything was amazing about that game...the music, graphics, gameplay.

Those were just some of my all time favorite games. Other great games that I enjoyed very much for Gamcube...

Mario Kart: Double Dash
Mario Strikers
Mario Sunshine
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
Super Monkey Ball
Super Monkey Ball 2
Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes
Pikmin 1
Pikmin 2

"If new things are so great, where have they been the whole time?"

Super paper mario was awesome though.

I miss the Nintendo of those days, and the whole philosophy back then. I still have and love my launch day purple lunch box.

It had the best two Metroid games (some of the best games of all time)
Best 3D Zelda
Best Paper Mario( My GAWD that game)
Best F-Zero
Best Smash
Best Mario Kart
Birthed Pikmin
Timesplitters 2
Wave Race
Rogue Squadron

All of this with jaw dropping graphics for the time and the best controller. Nintendo was focused on making really fun games with a focus on gamers back then. Not to mention a controller that you wanted to hold forever (Gamepad is really comfy, but it's no G-Cube).

If Nintendo updated the gamecube controller: (Better D-Pad, left z button, higher materials) and released it alongside a powerful console, I would buy 4.

TLDR I miss the gamecube so hard. :(

Well it was awesome in everyway except for the most important aspect of a game, being it's gameplay, which in SPM's case was too basic and repetitive. If it weren't for that dark story, beautiful visuals, and epic soundtrack, I'm not sure I would have finished the game.

i'm one of those Nintendo fans who loved the GC more than the NES and N64 :P

So, not a true Nintendo fan.

the hell does that mean?

It means that he's not a true Nintendo fan, because Gamecube was more like a Playstation 2 or Xbox for kids rather than a typical Nintendo system.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

I don´t miss it because it never left :)

The GameCube lived on in the Wii
