Fans of Shinen Multimedia — creators of Nano Assault Neo — who have been waiting for an announcement on their next game will soon be pleased. The developers have announced on their Twitter today that news regarding their next project will be surfacing a couple days, rather than weeks. The new title is a Wii U exclusive.

The company has always been supportive of Nintendo, stating that the Wii U is “a next-gen system” and that “If devs have a hard time making great looking games on Wii U, it’s not the hardware’s fault.” They are also currently working on a second generation Wii U engine, which they said would be revealed alongside their new game. Since their new game is just days from being announced, it’s likely we’ll soon see what this new engine has up its sleeve. Neo Assault Neo is widely considered to be one of the prettiest games on the console.

I'm looking forward to this. Shin's work is pure gold. I hope they make some kind of rpg or platformer with their awsum graphics! B'cause graphics is 50% of the game. Nuff said.

I would love for Nintendo to let Shinen loose on F Zero, it would be freaking amazing.

Can't wait to see it. Shinen are tech gods. Nano Assault Neo looks AWESOME while only using 1 core of the CPU and being 50MB (!).
