...it should be pointed out MH moved more hardware (japan) than pokemon. MH was the true vita killer. :P

Its an vita chipset, it runs Vita SO, it has Vita in the name, it is only a model of Vita without the screen and with HDMI output. Why woulndt count as Vita numbers?

I honestly only expected Beyond to do 150-180K first week, so I'm pleasantly surprised.

Beyond will end around 1'5 mill lifetime, maybe 2 but i don't think so, and it will be considered a step back from Heavy Rain.

I liked Heavy Rain, it was one the most interesting and original games of ps3, and Beyond looked similar for me in the demo, so maybe in the future i will get it.

Those are some impressive numbers for the 3DS. It outsold the home console market in its entirety, and if not for those significant PSVita numbers, it probably would have outsold the entire rest of the market.

Second solid week for Wii U, especially in the US where it is ahead of PS3 for two weeks. Really nice boost for Vita in Japan with the new model. And 3DS/Pokemon are a beast. Pretty nice week. I mostly like seeing Wii U having respectable sales. It needs to keep it up through to the new year to build a solid user base and restore faith in the platform.

because it's not a vita. vita is a portable video game device. vita tv only runs some vita games on a tv with a dualshock 1.3 i.e many vita titles are unplayable.

It certainly shouldn't be added to vita sales.

no clue how these pokemon numbers are compared to other pokemon games but looks good to me.

beyond numbers look ok, not sure how much advertisement it got in other countries but here in germany there is a huge ad campaign so i expect good numbers for germany. if it is the same amount of ads worldwide, the numbers are probably not so good anymore.
