It's pretty selfish to wish for such a thing, as there are other people who'd want that which you don't.

On the other hand, if Amazon.com/.co.uk are any indicators, the 2DS isn't selling good at all. It hasn't gone higher than position 29 on the best selling video games section since it's been added to the website. So your evil wish may be fulfilled.

Id wait until the holidays to see what affect it has. Its $129 and if they bundle a game like Animal Crossing or Mario Kart with it, alot of parents will see the value.

They say its for the kiddies but a big reason I think is because 3DS is due for a price cut but they dont want to give up the big profits 3DS and XL are likely making so they released a budget friendly alternative. If u look at Black Friday sales last year, 3DS was underwhelming but DS was very strong due to it being so cheap in comparison, Nintendo probably doesnt want that to happen again so they needed to close the gap on DS and 3DS price.

Diablo 3 numbers in USA are amazing, for a port of a game launched more than a year before in its principal format.

those GTA5 numbers don't make sense honestly. Only 7mil in USA, it's biggest market, when it broke sales records ($800m first day and $1b weekend) for the largest media opening ever. It had to have moved at least that many in it's first weekend and then has another 2 weeks.

No way GTAV would have sold 175.5 millions FW in the world. No game can do that.

so diablo did better than thought and gta didn't sell as many,i was thinking diablo sales weren't that good on consoles for such a big name

LOL at you ignoring the $$$ figures. We know that GTA5 tripled its FW sales in Japan. We know that GTA5 was HUGE. Retailers would have to order $800m dollars worth of copies. That only would have happened if there were signs it was going to be huge. BTW - $1b in a weekend would only be like 14.5m. No clue where you got 175.5.
