in order to catch hidden ability your friend needs to beat the game then both of you need to be online at the same time to catch hidden abilities!

If thats true then I will never be able to get one for ivysaur :( both of my friends who had it doesnt have the game

I do have a question. Does anyone know if your own friend safari depends on the game you have or your 3DS FC? I have Y right now and plan on getting X in the next few days and was wondering if I would have the same Pokemon in my safari for both games.

good question, I think it might be different but thats a guess. People who dont have the game have a safari zone so that might be every 3ds has just 1 no matter how many games!
