People believe what they want. As for me evolution is one of the biggest lies of the last 100 years or so.

A lot of people commenting on this topic seem to have a lot of pride. Haven't you heard pride blinds?

That said, I don't believe in evolution because I actually took time to read the counter arguments and the supposed contradictions and counter evidence. I am not going to blindly believe something because a lot of so called scientists, who tend to be held as infallible, wise men, say it is true. I am going to critically take a look at their evidence. If the evidence supports their claims then I will tend to believe it is true.

Now let me explain what I mean by evolution. I mean that all life evolved from some single cell. Bacteria adapting to antibiotics is not the evolution I am talking about.

Here are a few reasons why I think evolution is a lie and the evolution story people have been fed is a fairytale:

-reasons-

So with all these foundational expectations of evolutionists contradicted with recent scientific findings, don't you think it's time for to adopt a new theory? Where does the buck stop? If all of this doesn't falsify evolution then what will?

See, I actually did some homework. So please don't say or imply that all people who disbelieve the evolution story are ignorant or never read a scientific publication. I don't think I am more wise,  intelligent, or better than you because we differ on the varacity of the evolution story. Nor do I begrudge or insult, or scoff at you.

I can post a whole lot more information that totally destroys the evolution story even more so (at least for me), but who is going to really read a lot of it? This is a fundamentally a video game forum after all.

I suggest everyone who seeks the truth to take some time and do their own deep studying on the subject matter and come to their own conclusion.

Many of the people who you quoted are infact evolutionary biologists who are not againist the theory of evolution but seek to expand upon it, by questioning some things which do not seem to match current observations, that's how science works.  Did you know that Darwin did not know about genes? This doesn't mean that genes suddenly disprove evolution. I recommend you look over your homework and do research on what evolution is before you come to these conclusions which you do not seem to understand.

Wait a minute... some of you actually believe dino tissie can last 65 million + years? Nevermind scientists were incredulous it was real dino tissue because they believed it couldn't last that long and that the discoverer was completely shocked.

The evolution story brainwashing runs deep.

Not only does this have nothing to do with evolution but you also do not understand that in certain conditions organic materials can survive for millions of years.  Science is ever evolving with new observations and experiments to help us understand on how the world works, theories are build on enough evidence to support a hypothesis and sometimes we find something that changes our presepective on how we thought our world works. If this is considered brainwashing then I am very curious what unverified, anonymous, untested reports which people were forced to believe for hunderds of years are called.

What you just said is basically the same thing a lot of evolutionists say. To me it is a canned, rote response.

It seems to me they are trying to shoehorn all the evidence (or more accurately counter evidence) to fit their evolution paradigm instead of changing the paradigm.

If one has to shift their belief to think dinosaur tissue can last 65 + million years so the evolution story they been feeding us can still be perpetuated then it seems there is really no way to falsify it.

Apparently there are also still some people that don't know the world is round.
Last night on the amazing race 2 teams couldn't figure out how Magellan traveled from the far west side of the world map to the far east. Then they came up with the idea that he might have used the Panama canal......

I have done my homework. Have you? Have you really?

Of course I quoted evolutionists because if I quoted ID or Creationoist scientists people  would dismiss them.

Even out of evolutionists' own mouth their own theory has huge gaping holes everywhere. They can still believe it happened but it's not supported hard scientific evidence.

If you are going to come up with responses that will contiune to imply that evolution is a part of the some hidden agenda or conspiracy to continously shoot it down, I am going to stop responding, sorry.

..a lot of nonsense

Essentially with every wall of text you write, you prove times and again that you don't know (and don't want to know) how science works.

And are you seriuosly suggesting anyone is going to verify all the sources of your 5957365 quotes in your posts? You are still playing the "quote mining" game - You pick random quotes out of context and add them to a picture that pleases your obsession of "destroying evolution". Idiotic stuff like "a dino has been found with intact skin and internal organs (No it hasn't, fossilized skin structures - hell, even feathers - have been found)", "Bones absorb uranium and thorium like crazy (Yeah, that is why all the bones ever found are highly radioactive)", "evolution is random mutation (No it has nothing to do with random, it is the exact popposite of randomness)" etc etc ad nauseum. I'd suggest you'd better spend your time with good science books instead of listening to the creatonist cro-magnons.

Compared to religion, which is THE biggest lie in the history of mankind.

Obvious case of overlooking the elphant in the room, it seems...

A lot of people commenting on this topic seem to have a lot of pride. Haven't you heard pride blinds?

..and the day you think you know everything (ie faith), is the day that you stop learning.

Now let me explain what I mean by evolution. I mean that all life evolved from some single cell. Bacteria adapting to antibiotics is not the evolution I am talking about.

Stop right there...

Those two "evolutions" you're talking about are THE SAME THING. It's a result of gradual mutation and selection given environment, with genetic secularity gained from cultures physically separated from others. You'll find that bacteria adapting to antibiotics is genetic mutations of bacteria that are able to withstand a changing environment (ie. antibiotics), thus only their branches will continue. Given bacteria's rate of reproduction, think of it only as a sped up example of evolution at work.

Here are a few reasons why I think evolution is a lie and the evolution story people have been fed is a fairytale:

I'm extremely tempted to think that NONE of this is your work, rather a copy/paste from some kind of creationist site giving claims against evolution. Of course, most of these claims to falsify are in fact only half-truths. For example, the claim that "mutations mostly harm". Any mutation considered different from the norm is "harmful". Keep in mind that the article said "MOST", not ALL. That is all it takes, since harmful mutations would generally be quickly removed from the gene pool via natural selection, and eventually, you'll find that beneficial mutations, given their rate of benefit with regards to different aspects (environment, reproductability) will become the "norm" of the culture. Of couse, if you did PROPER research, you'd know that.

I don't call a copy/paste atempt of half-truths "homework". Your argument reeks of "this cannot be so, therefore religion", which is, by definition, an "argument through ignorance" fallacy. That being said, your attempts to DISPROVE evolution bring you no closer to actually proving your own stance.

Science works in one way and one way only: To best explain the workings of things given the facts. Nothing is proven in science. As you'll note, the theory of evolution has been tinkered with several times over the course of it's life, IN LIGHT OF NEW EVIDENCE. It's undergone a lot more rigorous training than your little copy/paste attempts show. Of course, once again, if you did PROPER research, you'd know that.

I can post a whole lot more information that totally destroys the evolution story even more so (at least for me), but who is going to really read a lot of it? This is a fundamentally a video game forum after all.

Or why not just point people to the site you got it all from, rather than just copying the entire page?

I suggest everyone who seeks the truth to take some time and do their own deep studying on the subject matter and come to their own conclusion.

...and might I add that you shouldn't try to use an end to justify the means, like this person certainly did.

And this one quote alone PROVES you have no idea whatsoever of the scientific method.

The evolution paradigm HAS changed over time. What you're hoping for is a complete overhaul, which, given the FACTS and EVIDENCE will most definitely not happen.

You're not one of those whackjobs who think that science is some kind of organisation that refuses to see facts when they arise and stick to their original ideas, are you? Because if you are, I can point you to a MUCH bigger organisation that is actually VERY guilty of that over the past few centuries...

Either way you choose its based on faith in something.

Neither position can be conclusively proven, so why not live and let live?

Believing based upon a mountain of evidence isn't faith. <-Evolution

Belief based upon fucking nothing is faith. <- creationism

Do you not understand the difference?

The difference is you choose to have faith in scientific theory and dismiss anything else. Your quote "based upon fucking nothing" proves it.
