As more and more games are released the backlog list of many gamers keeps increasing. This gen I have a huge backlog of games. I am citing mainly console retail copies because my origin and steam accounts "pile of shame" is very big compared to console counterparts.

1. Heavenly sword

2. Bayonetta

3. Demons souls

4. Darksiders

5. Little big planet

6. Batman Arkham Asylum

7. Just cause 2

8. Dragon Ball Z Raging Blast

9. Motorstorm Apolocalypse

10. Ratchet and Clank All 4 One

11. MGS 2 HD

12. Enslaved

13. SLY 1,2,3 HD

14. Jak and Daxter 1,2.3 HD

15. ICO & Shadow of the collosus Collection

16. Ni no kuni

Plus I may have missed some but cant remember. I dont use ps+. So instant game collection isnt part of my pile of shame.

What about you?

retail pile of shame:

Tales of Xillia (I was playing but went on vacation then, need to get back to it)
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
J&D HD trilogy
Wolfenstein 2009
Fallout 3
Fallout New Vegas
Final Fantasy 13
Final Fantasy 13-2
Bioshock 1
Bioshock 2
Borderlands 2
Crysis 3
Skyrim

digital:

Sly cooper HD 2&3
Bayonetta
Beyond good & evil HD
A lot of PS+ games

probably more games that I can't find... :L The retail games are literally on 1 pile next to my ps3

Retail games:

-Ratchet and Clank Collection (I still have the third game to beat)
-The Sly Collection (Again the third game)
-Jak and Daxter Collection (The second and third game, but I will never beat them, I hate them)
-Valkyria Chronicles
-Star Ocean 4 The Last Hope (I also hate this one so I will never beat it, even though I reached the final boss)
-Borderlands 2 (Hate this one too... xD)
-Tales of Xillia
-Etrian Odyssey 4
-Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor Overclocked
-Shin Megami Tensei Soul Hackers
-Fire Emblem Awakening
-New Super Mario Bros 2
-Dragon Quest 6
-The two DS zelda games
-Super Mario 64 DS
-New Super Luigi U
-Rayman Legends
-Pikmin 3

I also have Mass Effect, and Tomb Raider 2,3 and The Last Revelation to beat! Digital of course.

I use to do this but later on realized just how maddening it was and just gave it up. Now, whatever games I haven't played before the next gen, I just let them go. I figure, if the game was that great to begin with, I'd have made it a priority to play it when it came out or shortly after. And besides, there's always ebay if I want to play something 5 years down the road.

I say, learn to let go. Alot less stress imo.

My backlog is much bigger but its games on both the 360 and PS3. Plus there are tons of FPS that I have available to play that I will probably never play since I really don't like the genre I might break down and eventually play the single player of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary since I did finish it on the original X-Box also.

There's around 20+ games for PS3 I haven't played or finished, 150 Steam/GOG games I haven't started up, a number of PSP, DS, Vita, and 3DS games.

Same here. J & D 2 somehow turned me off. Same applies for sly 3. I forgot to add valkyria chronicles.

Laife is good.

Too long to list. I've bought my PS3 very late in the gen so I have a lot of stuff to play.

All Uncharteds
All Assassin Creeds
All Infamous'
KZ 2 and 3
Resistance Trilogy
Tomb Raider
Borderlands
GTA IV
Dead Space
All Mass Effects

and a bunch of other stuff. But at least I have some good games in front of me :P

None.

I am fully ready to jump into gen 8.
