Is this a beta build? I mean it was bare-bones and running slow.

But they still have time to optimize it, I guess...

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

i like the 360 dash a lot more tbh.

Not happy if thats supposed to be the final product...

Seems to be more like the dash for devs, XDK is the devkit-software.

We'll see if it changes closer to the end of the month, as there are 3 truck stops in my town towards the end of the month. I am hoping to go to one of them.

Camera work is something to be desired. I think I have motion sickness.

Hmm, pie.

How do you figure that it's "slow"? A couple of seconds to load an app is not slow by any means for a console, not to mention that switching from an app to the dashboard was near instantaneous.

And obviously it is a beta build since it doesn't have anything but the bare essentials. The final product will have all sorts of tabs much like the 360 has right now.

Near the end of the video when he minimizes the app and goes back to the dash you can clearly see slowdown.

Nothing terrible by any stretch and most likely non-existant by the time launch comes around.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

i think the take home message from last gen is that there isn't really a "final" product.   even if this is what ships day-1 we're still going to see regular updates thoughout the entire gen.  wiiU's OS had major issues at launch.  microsoft and sony will have issues as well.  ..and they'll be fixed in time.  any reasonable person should expect this.  only the kool-aid drinkers of the world would expect differently.
