Hint: The WII U is selling worse than the gamecube as of now. I hope that helped re-evaluate your prediction.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, I might have made the mistake of saying about 7 million, but now I must reconsider.

I will adjust my prediction accordingly... upwards to 15 million. Get mad.

Facts hurt huh ?  I guess I should be throwing it more out there to show that nintendo and it's followers are clueless.

The facts, they hurt so bad. I can't imagine a more painful experience than reading facts.

I feel enlightened after sharing these thoughts with you. I think I should adjust my prediction a second time, to 18 million. I feel pretty good about that.

There so painful that they bring despair LOL, especially towards nintendo's followers. Keep raising those unrealistic bars if you want.

Your encouragement means the world to me. I will continue to strive towards my goal of raising my prediction. I've managed to predict 19 million at this time, and I'm striving to make it 20 million by my next post. Thank you for the motivating words.

Then call peter pan from neverland to help with that LOL.

Wii Party, Wii Fit, Wii Sports, Wii Karaoke, 4-player Mario..........very family oriented

Well Wii U Is $100-200 cheaper than PS4/One and thats with a game+free online so its more like $200-300 cheaper so id say alot of people will see the value. And the typical consumer wont care that Wii U had a lousy first year. Somebody who is a fan of Mario/Donkey Kong/Zelda/Mario Kart/Smash Bros isnt going to skip buying a Wii U in 2014 because it had a drought in 2013.

Except for one thing, those games won't have any affect seeing as how the WII U lost every new audience they gained from the WII if only nintendo would accept the fact that gamecube was a failure and that they thrive in blue ocean then it would be different. 2D mario is family oriented otherwise why didn't 3D mario do the same god damn thing ?! It doesn't matter if the WII U is cheaper or not seeing as how PS4/X1 will have the games to justify their prices.

They lost every new audience? What do u have to backup those claims?

I have no idea what ur trying to say with ur 2D/3D Mario comparison

Are u implying thay Wii U wont have the games to justify a purchase this holiday and next year?

The fact that the WII U is doing horrible compared to the same time frame that the wii did. Do you know why the wii was successful at the beginning because nintendo sure don't seem to understand LOL or anyone here for that matter other than rolstoppable or sean malstrom and the others. The wii u will have games to justify it's purchase but your forgetting the fact that nintendo went red ocean with a bunch of sharks where sony and microsoft are the biggest predators.

Ur not really making any sense. U said the blue ocean games wont bring back families and ur proof is because they arent buying a console that currently lacks games that appeal to them?

I won't get into the rest of this discussion, but I will add this:

The WiiU/GameCube comparison is flawed and it always has been. The WiiU looks bad against the GameCube, because the GameCube actually had a very good year. In fact, there aren't many consoles that sold better than it, and it managed to gain half it's total lifetime sales in that first year (think about that for a second, in the remaining last four years of it's life it only sold just a bit more than in it's first year, what happened there?). From the top of my head, I think only the Wii, and the PS2 sold more in their first years. The PS1 maybe, but I don't believe so. That means that some of the most succesful consoles of all time, didn't beat the GameCube when first years are concerned. The XBox 360, the PS3, the SNES, the NES; they all lost. For the WiiU to lose this one, isn't such a huge deal as long it'll do decent enough.

If your wondering what gamecube sold in it's first year they hit 4.7 mil. So I don't know about your claim of the rest of those years being much worse.

If you weren't so openly rude, arrogant, vulgar, and immature, I would welcome a discussion.

But you repel me, so I decline to humor you.

When was I ever rude, arrogant, vulgar, and immature about bringing facts ? Then I guess you must seriously hate realists like me then. I offered you some hints to make a conclusion and this is how you treat me ?!

Cut your damn quote trees!

Also he meant that probably after you called him a delusional nintendo fanboy (Also grats on calling Mythmaker a nintendo fan). Also the way you comment really screams  Youtube comments section level of worth.

you are right, but, remember, the Gamecube was actually on par with the PS2 and Xbox, and some games actually were cooler on the Cube.

In other hand, when the WiiU fail to outshine the PS3 and 360 conterparts, it really makes the consumers afraid of getting one, right? Like Splinter Cell and Batman not having online and stuff like that...

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Those aren't blue ocean games anymore they have to compete with kinect sports and just dance LMAO. What will bring back the audience is block buster games like GTA  or COD but that is unrealistic to expect that from nintendo.

"Opinions and generalizations ? Really ?! Then I guess you can't accept those facts! The fact is nintendo pulled another gamecube but apparently you can't see that. I would really hate to be that blind smh."

Well, lets not go overboard here, there's a reason they cut the price to $150 less than 6 months after launch.
