I suppose we don't know until the final game is out.  I've been a bigger BF3 person over COD in the current gen cycle which had both games at similar resolutions.  But COD had 60 frames per sec whereas BF3 had better livelier graphics with 30 fps.

However, for next gen version, if BF4 is 720p (or sub 1080p) while COD Ghosts runs at full 1080p (I'm guessing this is native and not upscale).  Regardless of how much livelier environmental destruction (or levolution) that BF4 has, the difference in resolution from 720p to 1080p is huge.  I'll likely concede that COD Ghosts at 1080p is going to look much better. 

Of course, we don't know the final specs until the games are released.  (On a side note, as a PS4 pre-order customer, I blame Xbox1 if PS4 BF4 is 720p on release.....)

Just want to point out that Call of Duty didn't run at 720 native on HD twins. The resultion for games was 1024x600. So they were running at sub HD and upscaled. The recent entry Black Ops 2 ran at even bizzare number of 880x720 but atleast i guess you could call it 720p. 

Not 100% sure but Battlefield games ran at 720p native on PS360. 

Considering they are still recycling the same muddy textures and using the same old engine, i doubt Ghosts will look better than BF4 even at 1080p.

It depends how much resolution matters to you in regards to graphics. I find 720p a far  less crisp experience, and negates any fancy spell effects or higher poly count a different reasonably close game may have. Add on to the 60 FPS vs 30 FPS. I'd personally agree with you.

But, some people don't mind jaggies, and some say they can't tell a difference between 60 and 30. So they'd probably disagree.

I remember you can run Mw3 near highest settings just with intergrated GPU on i5, on i7 you have highest if iam not wrong, no video card required on PC lolXD

If the ps4 version of bf4 is 30 fps at 720p cause of the xbox one than blame EA for not using that so called 50% better performance than Xbox one for having lower performance

Just because a game is running in 1080 Doesn't mean that it's better. I'd take high quality 720 over crappy 1080 any day.
