It depends how much resolution matters to you in regards to graphics. I find 720p a far less crisp experience, and negates any fancy spell effects or higher poly count a different reasonably close game may have. Add on to the 60 FPS vs 30 FPS. I'd personally agree with you.
But, some people don't mind jaggies, and some say they can't tell a difference between 60 and 30. So they'd probably disagree.
