Tried finding a source but could only come up with PS4 and Xbone running at 1080p.

in reference to KH3 release date
The difference between 1080P60 and 720P60 isn't as big as you might think. I think the best part of both will be 60 frames per second. It's not like the difference from 480i to 720P.
Plus, in light of all the other public news lately that I think you are blaming the wrong console. But I doubt we will know for a long while anyway, if ever.

I don't know about you but PC gamers like myself are able to tell the difference between 720p and 1080p somewhat easily since some of us are pretty vulnerable to jaggies.

Jaggies are certainly an annoying killer - along with that flashing of non aliase stuff when you move around. (Sort of like a Moliere patter, but not sure if they call them that.
But since the Xbox One has it’s on separate upscaler and I think the PS4 may have something simpler – you wouldn’t see jaggies as much as fuzzies.
If well upscaled and aliased, sure it’s sharper, but if you really like BF4 I don’t think you will be saying, "Gosh, this game is great, if it was only in 1080P."
Personaly I think the 60fps over 30fps is much bigger deal than 1080p/720p if you could only chose one.
The thing is CoD has the power of the Ghosts which will make it overwhelmingly stronger than Battlefields Four as days and years pass by.
Battlefield 4 has 0 Ghost power making it inferior to CoD: Ghosts, I wish I had a more scientific way explaining this but I'm afraid there is not...

I also think that 60fps is a slightly bigger deal than 1080p too.
On a side note, Ridge Racer 7 looks much than Forza 4 simply because its 1080p.
