BioShock is no longer a contender?

I'd go Fire Emblem Awakening, myself. Haven't played GTAV yet so I can't make a comparison yet.

Couldn't wait 1 more day for the GTA5 multi-player to be released??

TLOU i did not like, i could not get into it, felt like i was playing a David Cage game, great story but great video game?

Agreed. No idea why he had to compare now...he should have waited a couple days. 

Numbers alone should put GTAV above in votes. So many have already played it without laying a finger on TLoU. Quality is subjective but numbers aren't.

There totally different experiences and i wouldn't want to be without either, but if you had to choose i chose GTA, its a big fun sandbox which will provide a lot more entertainment even with just your own imagination.

I was tempted to buy both games, but in the end I decided to skip both games.

I really liked Uncharted and Platinumed all 4 Uncharted games... but the Last of us.. I simply did not like the whole setting of the game. The whole game felt simply too brutal to be enjoyable for me. I simply did not want to spend time in such a dystopian world.

GTA V... I also got the Platinum Trophy in GTA IV and having spend so much time in this gameworld I realized that most of the tasks where just shallow. Most of the "Sidequests" felt soo boring like finding all pidgeon, doing all stunts and I the friends always called me when I was occupied with other stuff. The online-Trophies of GTA IV wer amongst the most repetitive tasks that I have done this generation thanks to the petrovic trophy... winning all races twice and grinding Noose alarm for max. level was soo boring. After hearing the final two plings I was finished with this franchise.

My most anticipated game of this year was Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD. Great Story, great gameplay and a great Singleplayer experience.

Bioshock Infinite. The game got tedious towards the middle, but the beginning and end were spectacular. While GTA 5 was great, but it was trying to be the jack of all trades and failed. Sleeping Dogs had better combat and visuals(PC), Just Cause 2 had more crazy fun moments. And the driving was pretty mediocre. The thing GTA had going for it was the story and attention to small details. Haven't played Last of Us yet. Will redbox it eventually though.

and not a single 360, wii, or wii u game was discussed. the abandonment nintendo and ms did is comical.
