I got a 3DS...

Finally, a blue 3DSXL bundle with Mario Kart 7 pre-installed.

It costs me 3,600.- pesos (267usd).

So far, the impression is good. My first reaction was "that's bigger than I imagine, good!" I like big things. Anyway, it's been like 10 years since my last time I played a handheld, GBA was the last one in 2002 or so with A Link to Past - Four Swords, so my eyes needs to get used to it. I cannot use the 3D as it hurts me more than I thought, so I used only in 2D mode. Althought, maybe it's my faulty eyes, but it looks in some kind of subtle 3D.

Following, the buttons are smaller than it needs to be (like with the Wii U) but have been responsive so far. The slide has worked ok and the touch screen has been used to far only with the stylus.

I haven't used a lot, so I didn't enter to all the apps like the AR Card, 3DS music or Mii Plaza. I don't even know what's my FC.

In the software side, only played MK7. The first original/retro cup 50cc and no online (thanks terrible internet). Game is ok, but it left me more worried than impressed.

I'm planning on getting some software, so I'll enlist hoping all of you can say me something about those to help me deciding to buy it or not:

  • The Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds
  • The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D
  • The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening
  • The Legend of Zelda Oracle of Ages/Seasons (both)
  • Animal Crossing New Leaf
  • Shin Megami Tenseu IV
  • Eitran Oddisey IV
  • Fire Emblem Awakening
  • Ace Attorney 5
  • Bravely Default Fliying Fairy
Not interested in SM3DLand, KIUprising, LM2 Dark Moon, NSMB2, MP Island Tour.
Any other games you can recomend me? Also, I'll look later at the Comunnities in the online in MK.

Can't say much about SMTIV, as this isn't out in europe, but Etrian Odyssey is awesome. Fire Emblem: Awakening also get's my recommendation. Link between worlds isn't out yet, but OoT3D is basically OoT - you can't go wrong.

I would recommend Dillon, if you like action and Pullblox/Pushmo, if you like puzzles.

Too many to list but check out this page and the ones rated 7+.

I enjoyed Pushmo (and Crashmo), Zen Pinball 3D, NightSky, Mutant Mudds, Mighty Switch Force, The Denpa Men, VVVVVV, FreakyForms (kind of kiddie game but still fun to play and create characters), Lets Golf! 3D (got a 6/10 on NintendoLife but I enjoyed it), Dillon's Rolling Western

I heard SteamWorld Dig was good.

Wait, you missed out on the original DS? That means there's, like, a gajilliion games you could catch up on now.

You ever play Animal Crossing? It is a pretty relaxing game which allows you to progress at whatever pace you choose.

If you have poor vision then it is hard to see the 3D.  I have trouble seeing the 3D with my contacts out even though I can read up close without correction.  So I only use the 3D effect if I am wearing corrective lenses.

I'll probably go with Pushmo/Pullbox. I have MSFHD on Wii U, so I{ll pass.
