If I want to be a Unicorn and I put a horn on my head. Does that mean everyone has to respect my choice and instantly know what it is I want to be?

That's hardly a fair comparison, what a stupid thing to say.

Sorry if you cannot understand it. Just because you want to be something, doesnt mean everyone will just know you want to be that. Especially when it comes to gender and how some people, not trying to, will look or sound like the opposite gender. I made it so extreme in an attempt to make it clear but I see it was over your head.

No need to throw insults around. I would report you for saying that since I got banned for it but I am sure nothing would happen to you.

If you cant talk like an adult to me, then dont respond to me. What I said was extreme but not that hard to understand imo.

I understand exactly what you said and I didn't insult you so get off your high horse. It's noone elses business what gender she wants to be so yes they should respect that.

Then she shouldnt be insulted when people dont know what they are or how to respond to them. No high horse just using common sense. You cant respect something you dont know about.

Its not their business what she is but they should respect what she wants to be without knowing it... Yeah makes perfect sense dude.

Its obvious this conversation is pointless here with you. Good bye

I see alot of variety of in opinion and im glad to see that. I am curious to find out more information. She clearly is not identifiable as a female but to insult anyone on stage in front of an audience is a different matter. they both have very different stories of how it happened. with transgender individuals becoming more common and accepted do we need a more PC term for if your unsure of which to use?

Its okay to make fun of people unless its you being made fun of.

You preach about common sense and think it's fine for people to call people "it". Nobody is saying people should know what she is but you handle it far more tactfully than that, and he was on stage to boot. You don't call anyone '"it" it's not difficult to grasp, it's disrespectful.

Ill admit its a bit of a hypocritical statement i made considering my profile picture and signature come from a show that all it does is make fun movies and people in them.   I love a good laugh at someone elses expense but deep down i know it is wrong.  I often tell myself im going to hell for shit i will laugh at on liveleak lol  but idno having someone on stage and making fun of them infront of a crowd is pretty bad.  I would laugh but at the same time say it shouldnt have happened.

I am Torgo, I take care of the place while the master is away.

"Hes the clown that makes the dark side fun.. Torgo!"

Ha.. i won my bet, but i wasnt around to gloat because im on a better forum!  See ya guys on Viz

Calling people it if it happened is not cool, referring to someone you do not know as this person is not offensive at all.

On a side note cutting off a penis is also not cool.

By trade, comedians make fun of anyone so that no one is special. The problem with stage comedians they do act within a certain zone and it probably is easy to have a situation where you never encountered. From looking at the picture, I would say it was a guy with a rack. The expectation of the person definitely cannot be that people would know which gender he/she is trying to be. No matter what the guy said, the situation would still be awkward.

Back in the day, I worked as a bouncer in a club and cross genders of all types would come in. After awhile you get comfortable with knowing which gender they are sporting but its not something you pick up on right away. Usually its the walk, mannerism and speech that give it away. Even still, I am sure the situation is like a loaded guy where no matter what happen it was going to go off and hurt somebody.

If they don't know what they are, how are we.

Poor choice of words I guess.

I saw this on GAF yesterday.

Seemingly, the comedian asked for a woman on stage and when Laura got on stage, he actually thought it was a man trolling him.

Look at Laura. Look at the adams apple. Laura is quite clearly a man and a comedian will pick up on that very very quickly.

The entire thing was blown out of proportion. Laura got a ton of abuse on Twitter and was foolish enough to put a phone number on Twitter.

Microsoft should apologise to her for his actions, as he was representing Microsoft. He should also apologise himself. Laura should get a new phone number.

That should be it.
