Dark souls, it deserves a lot of sales than 2 million. Makes me sad to see Skyrim breaking well over 10 million and dark souls not even doing a fifth of its number.

I love elderscroll series, had spent over 300 hours in skyrim. But the gameplay in vanilla skyrim is the clutter fuck of a mind boggling shitfest that I've come across in an RPG. I Love both games but not the sales gap in between them.

Wii: Red Steel, Sonic and the Secret Rings, De Blob- A lot of Wii titles had the same problem. Great idea that was underdeveloped. Red Steel and Sonic in particular had really great (if not perfectly implemented) core mechanics that weren't quite developed. I'd like to have seen another Sonic done in that style.

XBox 360: Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts- It wasn't Banjo Kazooie, but it was an amazingly fun game. The right balance of ugc and traditional game structure.

Multiplatform: Catherine- Only moral choice system I've seen done right.

DS- I guess we could call the DS itself a hidden gem since nobody has really mentioned it here... Anyway Kirby Canvas Curse and The World End with you stand out. There are a lot of others, but those came to my mind first.

PSP- Not much love for portable gaming consoles. Anyway Mega Man Powered Up and Maverick Hunter X were really solid remakes that didn't really get the props they deserved.

I overlooked Alan Wake cause it was digital only and I don't buy digital games. Did it ever get a physical release? I know its a pretty popular game so I think it should have, but I've never seen it in a store.
