You cant compare the preorder figures between the two. BW released on an established install base. 3DS's is still growing.  3DS sales will spike once XY hit.

What's COMG? Also, your install base theory doesn't explain why B&W2 solds so little despite having close to 3 times the install base when B&W came out.

completely forgot about the 2DS. it was made for parents to cheap out and get their kids a handheld capable of playing pokemon. 2DS+pokemon is cheaper than XL

you dont understand how pokemon works. B2&W2 arent sequels, theyre the same game with extra content. The games are a part of the same gen. no graphical or gameplay changes.A sequel is Red to Gold, not Red to Yellow. 7m fow what basically is a GOTY version is amazing,  not a disappointment 

ok, i see now. You dont understand about pokemon third installments. Every gen has a new game that comes out which is a director's cut in them. some of them are different(adding story/new moves/more feat/etc). People who dont play pokemon get confused with BW2. Its not a new gen game. Its a third installment. Its been out for a year and sold almost 7mil, making it the 3rd highest selling director cut game. It beat Emerald/Crstal which sold 6.39mil/6.41mil lifetime. Its going to outsell the 2nd highest (platinum) lifetime as well whicch i think it currently has 7.6mil. BW2 isnt a main game, pls dont compare its sales with the Big 6 gen games. Totally Different

So, what's your logic for thinking that Pokemon will be bigger than the DS ones when all signs point to the contrary?

I personally can't wait for the first weeks sales to be out. It will be hilarious.
