these are much more meaningful for PSP than they are for PS3. At this time last year PS3 had very few systems sold and very few games on the market.

The general theme so far appears to be better for the PS3 (better sales). But then again it has a hand full more games now.

yep - both have improved. However, it's not surprising for the PS3 cause it did really bad last year so there was a lot of room for improvement.

the ps3's increase was about 10 - 20k

the PSP's increase seems to have seen a double in sales.

I have a feeling this will be a very insightful thread if you keep it up. Thanks. Care to add in PS2 data as well? Edit: Maybe in the Overall section you can put the year to date cumulative. It would be interesting to see (hypothetically) that Psp 2008 outsold 2007 by August, or PS3 2008 outsold 2007 by October.
