Make or break for Wii U.

It's going to be very important for it.

For Wii U, it's vitally important.
It's done absolutely abysmally all year; if it can't even sell well during the Christmas holidays, when Nintendo systems virtually always catch fire, then it's in serious trouble.

I didn't buy a N64 (used) until really late in its life cycle and I bought mine for Perfect Dark. I played all the Goldeneyes, Smash Bros, Mario Parties and whatnot at my friends house.

yow know they are on the verge of dissapearing to the real core games that rule as of today. ppl dont wanna be a plumber anymore. just gimme whores and xpensive cars and let me kill a lil bit

ON TOPIC

This holiday season should be very important as this season Nintendo needs the momentum to carry it into next year. Hopefully the software that's releasing for the system in the next 3-4 months should be enough to revitalize the console as I don't think Smash and Kart ALONE is big enough to carry it through 2014. Like a lot of people have been saying, the WiiU needs the games (and good ones at that). That's it.

The 3DS/2DS on the other hand has Pokemon so.......yeah. Handheld side of things is good for at LEAST a good 5-6 months with Pokemon alone.

Its gonna be an uphill battle... If Super Smash Bros or Mario Kart were out... I could see the wiiU being sold like crazy but its gonna be hard with just Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario 3d World and Sonic Lost Worlds... Specially with the hype that ps4 is gonna be... The only way I think they might sell is if the ps4 gets sold out

With that being said... 2014 is defiantly gonna be the year of the wiiU

I think the Wii U would be have a respectable boost World Wide since they have no competition in Japan.

Thankfully, you don't represent the whole market.
