Yup! I think it's doing it's part but not that significant and the new PSVITA 2000 is releasing couple of weeks from now (This is the one that is causing the low sales.).

From the 9.9 conference Sony mentioned they are phasing out the 1000 model (no release date was given for the more expensive everybody's golf model) and the 2000 doesn't release until 10.10, so I guess we have two more weeks of subpar vita numbers.
