Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft on Xbox One: "We are winning the games message"

Can't see Phil Harrison working for another company, so weird. lol Anyway, they can keep trying and telling themselves that they're winning.

All of this, of course, is just my opinion.

Skyrim 100%'d. Dark Souls 100%'d.
Dark Souls > Skyrim.
Halo 4 is the best damn FPS since Halo 3.
Proud pre-orderer of 2 PS4's and an Xbox One.

Currently Playing: Dark Souls II, South Park
Playstation 4: MGS V GZ, Killzone: Shadow Fall, NBA 2k14.

Interesting how people still think Titanfall is a launch game.

*Chinese launch /jk

Sony still has games from Santa Monica and Naughty Dog to show. Also, I can't take Titanfall seriously when it will also exist in a superior fashion on PC. Sony just has a better fist party than Microsoft, and it isn't close.

I think it would be sad if Xbone wouldn't have decent sales. I know many PS fans want them to fail or downplay their line-up and it is clear why they do so but keep in mind that competition is what keeps the industry driving. I doubt PS4 would have been built with such an effort if 360 wouldn't have been such a success.
But who am I talking to, people want to be on #team-win and so every "own" exclusive gets hyped while other exclusives are downplayed. Like every other gen.

Depends how you look at it.

Competition brought PS online into a $50 fee.

Competition lock certain people with single consoles from playing games that would otherwise be multiplatform.

Competition keeps current gen console's prices high.

Competition creates massive fanboy wars. (lol)

Competition often creates terrible games that are gimped for being multiplatform. (though this vs point number 2)

Honestly atm I believe MS is shooting for profitability over beating Sony in console sales, like with decent HW sales but still profitable. While Sony is looking for massive HW sales to drive profits. So if the Xbone sells worse then the PS4 but is more profitable then I would not see a problem. And looking at VGC preorder numbers (which could be very wrong) it looks like Xbone will be fine in 2nd.

Lmao the exaggeration of the Microsoft brigade is truly hilarious. "No doubt" "absolutely" "unquestionable" I suppose when you are grasping at straws all day your thoughts become cloudy.

Opinions are just that. When you inject certainty to your opinion you admit delusion.

Have to agree but he must be talking about AAA games because there are no Indies on Xbox at launch.

Well, the reviews are in and the can cancel the launch of both systems. I need all of the people who planned to buy the PS4 to send me approximately $800, and all of the people who planned to buy the XB1 to send me $900. Cash is preferred, but paypal will be accepted!! Upon funds being collected from you, I will promptly email you a picture of your new console and links to videos of the games that you desired(please make sure to not list more games than the $800-$900 will allow after the console price, also the XB1 buyers need to include the cost of batteries in their calculations).

IF that is the case, then why should you wait til November, I can take care of this right now. Unlike the console manufacturers, there will be no middle man and I will provide actual sales figures for the VGC community on a weekly basis.

It seems that a video of a game or photo is all that is needed to determine which system we are buying and then which games are better. No need to waste all of our time actually playing the games and then making a decision.

OT : So, I think that the games LOOK good on both systems. I will wait to decide which are better after trying them out or at least seeing real life action on an actual console right in front of me.

Unfortunately for his statement the preorder numbers don't bear that out...

Oh, so you have some magical source out there giving you exact pre-order numbers for both machines? You should share this information then, if not; your post is just plain random to me...

Seems like Kettle calling pot black.

You stated that MS is winning the games message, but provide no "evidence" of such except your opinion, and now you are asking for this guys magical source...

Let's be sensible shall we :)

No, it is not the same. Asking us to "look at pre-orders" to prove us the opposite of what Phil. Spencer is saying, is just plain random...

Now, having a lot of people (like it or not...) thinking that the Xbox One got a better line up is just a general consensus right now from the medias (no need to tell me that you disagree, obviously, PS4 fans in general will disagree.).

You can also tell me that it is not true and I'm making things up about the Xbox One line up but then it is like you telling me that the sky is red and not blue... But hey, at least you are right on one thing is is a matter of oppinion... Maybe it is based on that but it is still better that talking about number our his ass :)

Xbox One titles smash PS4. however this site will never admit it. you got all the haters comin.
