Fair enough. Not 4 but 5 of the games are released on PC (Outlast, Divekick, Don't Starve, Minecraft and Fez).  ;) The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is a remake and therefore a new game and Mercenary Kings is in "beta" and has not been released yet.

Easy now. xD Again exclusive meaning "not on Xbox One" and the game has only been confirmed for PS4 and PC.

Like Project 2 I never said Trials Fusion was exclusive. Just an example of the many developers that had console exclusive games for Xbox 360 and now don't.

In short J_Allard's point is that even though many of these developers release their games first or exclusive for PS4 it isn't really a shift in favoritism because they released their games on Xbox 360 when MS paid them to and will release their games on PS4 when Sony pays them to. My point is that not all of these developers are paid (some of them have bad experiences working with MS) and even if they're paid, it is not wrong to use the word "favor". If I had to choose between two similar streaming services to sell my movie I would favor the one helping me finance the movie. No need to comment on all the 19 developers again. Busy playing The Last of Us MP.

That's not true cause Sony will tell us.  Sony holds nothing back from the public.  I will like to hear what these games are.  Sony don't have that type of money to do what Microsoft said, that's why they said it.

If somehow 15 or so Sony studios found a way to develop games without money, I think it is even better. They will be able to create inifinitely many games this way.

There's occasionally one, a lot of the time two, and occasionally THREE indie games released EVERY WEEK on XBLA.

So sony struck up a few exclusive indie deals here and there, big deal.

Bottom line is______________ sony fans have only just started giving a crap about indie games purely because that's what sony have been mainly focusing on during the last few months.

If you suddenly think indie games are going to dry up on 360/X1....... think again..!!!!

MS have been taking names on the indie scene for years now.

For some indie developers it is because of bad experiences from a previous collaboration with Microsoft, but generally it seems like the PlayStation 4 is the platform that these developers prefer to see their games on. Could it be because of Sony's respect for indies made clear by Santa Monica's collaboration with The Chinese Room (Dear Esther, Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs) on Everybody's Gone to the Rapture and Naughty Dog's praise of indie developers especially for their creation of characters.


Despite your list having some flaws (the Double Fine and Minecraft examples come to mind) I have a few questions for you:

In you sig you say you are "just a fan of great games". So what is the point of your thread? To teel XBox fans that they will not get great games and that it´s a good thing? Or to say that MS screwed up so we miss these potentially great games and that is a good thing? Or do you think it is bad that XBox fans miss out on these games and that you would like us to get these in the future on out favourite platform?

I simply do not understand your thread, unless you do it just to be spiteful? As a "fan of great games" that wouldn´t really be the way do go, do you think?

If the main focus of the thread would have been that you are glad to get exclusive games for PS4, that´s a whole other matter. But now it just seems you wan´t to be petty. Am I wrong?
