The problem is you cant have a perfect reputation if one of the mods feels like god and others misunderstand what you say and instead of asking they swing the banhammer/or warn you (they are users here too so they could just participate in the thread and ask you to clarify instead of warn/ban people)

I once said "sUpeR MaRio GalAxY" and axumeblade misunderstood warned me (he did not Ban me! so huge improvement over some other mods) and after I explained that this was not ment as an offense but as the "Super Mario Galaxy "UR MR GAY" joke" (just look at the logo) he "removed" his warning and was appologizing. This guy is a great mod because you can have a normal conversation with him and he actually listens!

But not everyone can be a great mod since humans do mistakes so it's okay.

because I got banned in a thread that was made before the PS4 was even announced and I talked about the console that did not exist. (qualifies as trolling because you initiate a conversation that results in comparing consoles even tho one of them does not exist yet)

And I got warned because someone made a Sony-hype thread and compared PS2+PS3 sales with sales of 360+Wii and said look Sony is better than MS and Nintendo together.
I then replied and said "whats the point of this comparison?"
Then I compared toiled paper sales with Sony console sales and said " look toilet paper sells better"
IMHO stupid comparisons that just want to keep the console war going (that are therefore troll material) need stupid comparisons as reply 
(I mean as you can see in my pic I own a PS3 (I actually have 2 of them)  I also owned a PS1 and own a PS2 PSP and Vita but I cant stand that  "LOOK I AM SUPERIOR" attitude so I butt into the threads all the time)

I got warned once for puting an "offensive" signature (it was dark souls related). I found it unfair. The mod in question could have contacted me, tell me that I shouldn't put that signature (or removing the offensive part, which it is what I did), instead of going with a full-warning. In other case I put a signature that was off-limits, and Kantor warned me, but via wall-post (no full mod-warning thing), so that was cool.

So no, I don't have a perfect reputation, but because of unfairness :(

Yes. My controversial opinion about VGC mods did not belong in the controversial opinion thread.
I was banned directly, without a warning.

I've never been moderated for some years, but I've been lurking in these forums until recently. lol

I would have contacted the head mod on this one. That was not a good ban at all, and it atually validated your post.
