I doubt that and they have no way of knowing it.

I can believe 40% of Xbox live gold accounts might be in the name of women, because theres lots of mommys around to pay for their kids. I dont believe for a second there is actually 40% of women actively using it/playing.

I actually think they are mistaken with their numbers (maybe they are referring to a specific category tho...) but I think it is an awesome marketing move lol Now all those single kids will go buy an Xbox One because they know, they will find some ladies out there! Good move MS, good move...
