If anything you could on the PC.

And by the looks of next gen, most games will be on both (consoles/PC)

So far I've gone with PC+Sony, but I think next gen I'm going with PC only. Consoles are getting to the point where there's too many negative things involved compared to the positive things.

I've been Nintendo only, and I plan on sticking with that. It has worked out well for me in the past. You can pretty much count on around at least 10 great games from Nintendo each generation. A few of which will be near the best of the entire generation. I can't miss that.

Looking at the various opinions, I can't help but revere every respective post. We have different tastes and seek different things in gaming, so playing on one platform or a multitude of platforms is totally fine when you consider the individual's tastes. It is interesting to see just how many people feel comfortable playing only on Sony or Nintendo. I admit I am a big Sony enthusiast and believe I could go Sony only (which I did this gen), but I would feel as if I am missing out on something mainly due to the omission of Nintendo's works (next gen). Games like Smash and Zelda have been with me for a very long time, and I want to experience new installments of them, especially since the Wii U is Ninty's first HD system. Likewise, I love my GOW, Uncharted, Sly, Killzone and the various other Sony IPs.

I might consider PC later though ....

I've never owned more than one current gen console at a time. I've borrowed other consoles, but by the time I was old enough to start buying games for myself, I realized there are enough good games on every system to hold me down for six or seven years. It helps to have a diverse taste in games.

I used to play mostly Nintendo and a little Sega.

Now I play mostly Sony and a little Nintendo.

I have dabbled in PC, but even though it has tons of great games it just isn't really my thing. I will still play PC here and there as a third wheel though.

Never got the Microsoft stuff (unless you count the little PC gaming I do).

Recently, I been going retro. Gamecube, PSP, and GBA.

Good times. :)

I would go this route too but money is my main issue.

Supporting PC + Wii U + 3DS for now is all I can handle.

Luckily in a year or 2 I should be getting a steady enough flow to include the PS4.

I buy all portables because they usually have good exclusives that can't be found on consoles or other portables, while Sony consoles are enough that I don't need another home console. Although, I might get a Wii U for a few games and Wii BC.

This is basically how I feel. Sony has always provided me with the goods and there are plenty of reasons for me to stick it out with them alone. The Wii U having BC is also a plus since I didn't buy the original Wii, so I'll get the interesting games I missed out on.

As for handheld, I find them to be complements, so naturally getting both is in my best interest.

Same.  I own Wii games right now but no Wii.
