I feel like for at home gaming devices, it helps to have more than 1 for variety.

For handhelds, 1 is enough.

A mix of everything is pretty fun to me. I like consoles and PC the most. Handhelds can be fun too.

Always fun to mix things up. Also i don't have much loyalty towards any of the big 3 or PC. I like some more than the others at a given time but that can and does change over time.

Only to someone that wanted to see that. I paid for my PC. I paid for my Wii U. However I dont have to pay to play either online. Do you think I was suggesting I got 2 platforms for free and the others should be free as well? Wow.

For the past 2 gens I started with Nintendo then in the second half got a Playstation then Xbox after the gen has finished. I plan on doing the same this time. As far as handhelds go, ive always stuck to Nintendo.

Multiplayer on emulator?

I'd have everything if I could justify the expense but otherwise I'm well covered by PC and Playstation.  



If I want to play it online I will get the PC version. X1 games will most likely be on PC anyway and the few Sony exclusives I want, I dont want for multiplayer any way.

Lol really?  You said you would wait to use emulators, you won't be able to play online with an emulator..."wow" Why can't you just admit you said something stupid?  Now you said somthing even dumber to try to cover that up.

No way I can have less then two consoles every gen. I need a strong variety of games.
Though that doesn't mean I'll buy a lot of games. I barely brought 20 games on the Wii, I might even buy less on the Wii U

I tried playing The Last of Us on the Xbox 360 once and it got the RRoD. I tried on the Wii U and it set on fire.

I can only play on the PS3 due to the other console's hardware limitations.
