I always have one system I play on at a time, but that switches out through the gen. Last last time I started with PS2, then moved to gamecube, then moved to xbox. Last gen I started with 360, then moved to Wii, and finished the second half on PS3. This gen I'm currently on Wii U but for the first time I won't have a dominate system. I'm getting both PS4 and XBONE at launch so I'll have to switch from one to the other on a daily basis.

Current gen it was Ps3 and sometimes Wii. Up to about 2010, when the wii still had some good games I'd play for a break from my Ps3 (Brawl, Galaxy, Zelda).

Next gen looks like it's just Ps4 and vita.... and Ps3. And ps2. jk.

In my case a PC is always there and Nintendo consoles add alot to the gaming library whereas a PS3 or 360 dont really offer that much bonus to a PC gamers library (only JRPGs and the few good exclusives which I love and thats why I end up buying all systems in the end)

I can't play Mario Galaxy, Xenoblade, or Skyward Sword on my 360, and I can't play Bioshock, Mass Effect, or Bayonetta on my Wii.

Multiplayer on emulator?

I'd have everything if I could justify the expense but otherwise I'm well covered by PC and Playstation.
