That is an imperfect solution, but one I can elect to do if neccessary. That doesn't make it any less pointlessly inconvenient or unintuitve, however. From both a business perspective and a design perspective, it was a poor decision.


You know... some people would be happy to have sequals at all. Fans of Grandia, Lunar, Suikoden and others werent so fortunate.

I would , if the existence of those sequels didn't degrade the series as a whole by fracturing the story unneccessarily.

Yep, its a mess. But the inclusion of all of those spinoffs to begin with represent fault with the franchise anyway. For whatever reason Japanese developers just love to convolute things to the point of redundancy.
