Looks great, direct footage would be awesome to have. Where is Walsufnir?! |
I am here and already watched it. No change in my opinion (while still better than deepdowngrade, definitely!).

That demo was never supposed to be an actual representation of the final product. We didn't saw it running, in real-time, on PS4. This is what they should have shown from the beginning, which is still very good, very next gen. |
Yeah. I bashed the original Deep Down demo video because Capcom was trying to pass it on as actual gameplay footage when, as usual, just another developer adding a HUD to a video and saying it's gameplay.
Square Enix did this with the original Final Fantasy 13 cutscenes when back in 2006 they had the combat UI added to it.
Gameplay looks nice though. Capcom's version of Demon's Souls.

Don't worry. They'll go back to normal Capcom after this. They'll add two new rooms to explore and sell it as a new game.
I'd prefer something like Dragon's Dogma but this should be OK too...
I wish we had a direct feed version of both the trailer and gameplay demo so we could finally see if there's been a downgrade or not... it looks as if there either was no downgrade or the downgrade is minimal, but still there... But we won't know for sure until a direct feed version comes up...
Looks amazing and promising. Will never buy it, or even play it for 1 second.
Fuck online-only games.
Not really into online games that much, not unless they have a single player component ;)
Looks nice though.
between this and dead rising 3 i think playstation fans got the far better exclusive.
I think it looks really good. If enemies actually react differently depending where you hit them then that's a very nice addition to the Souls formula.
But they should add more weight to dead enemies. I know that this might be a reference to Demon's Souls aswell and has the advantage that you can't get stuck by dead enemies as easily, but I think it's better for the immersion to make that more realistic.

I keep seeing/hearing this. What's so wrong with DR3? Maybe I'm being biased since I cherish that series, but more and more are saying it looks "meh", to a degree, and I'm trying to understand why. |
Yea, I don't really understand that either, although I usually don't buy games like DR3 I think it looks pretty fun. Several people were talking about framerate dips and stuff, but that hardly ever influenced the enjoyment I had with a game (a notable exception here is Bayonetta, that was pretty frustrating in the PS3 version, but it still was a very good game) and there are still some month until release anyway.

Based on what?! Really, what did you actually see in the videos so far? Console wars and their laws...
