Uncharted 1,2 and 3, God Of War 3 and Acention, The Last of Us.. all those PS3 exclusives could run with minor compromises on the 360. And they would look as good as the time and money at hand to port.

Idem for Halo 3-4, Gears 1, 2 , 3, Forza 2, 3, 4...

Just get on with this discution.

Wrong/... These games use CELL and MLAA, where cell does a lot of work taking the laod off the GPU, this is Something the 360 CANNOT do, it's why uncharted, killzone god of war look better then anything on 360. Let me guess, you don't own a ps3? I own both, and there is a noticeable difference between those games and anything on 360.

I won´t go further in that pointless discution. If you are blow away if the handfull of PS3 exclusives  I can do nothing, not even bring Crysis 2 and 3, of Battlefild 3 ...

Bring them up, none look better then ps3 exclusives, Crysis in particular was overrated graphically, was disappointing on console.

Who said I was blown away????Please post where I said that, i just said they look betetr then games on 360, which they do. I played Battlefield, crysuis, metro on PC................ They look best on PC, not console.

Its COD with mechs. It could sell any console that has a fanbase that loves shooters. It's addictive pick up and play gaming.

Ironicaally this new gen, Sony fans on this site sem to be touting a shooter ( Killzone ) over any other game. Microsoft have sim racer, Beat em up, Action Open world game, Obscure game, Hack n slash game at launch. The kinds of games Sony fans normally tout. So it should sell to early adopters of Ps4 gamers as they are al sooter fans.

Sony is a lesser known company for shooters. Their first party is all over the place in many genres, you're just trying to make yourself feel better, so humor yourself. Are you mad that Sony launched with a very strong shooter in Killzone? Dead Rising is never a console seller, although its a decent game. Ryse isn't in the hack n slash genre, its a simple action adventure with a battle system more akin to Assassins Creed then Hack-n-slash genre titles like God of War, Bayonetta, or even Ninja Gaiden. Ryse goes like this: *Block* *stab* *chain stab* *block* *slash** QTE*. Forza is the only system seller. Hopefully by the review we'll get a good look at the single player because the multiplayer doesn't look great at all. I'm hoping that it is good because I will be testing out Ryse if I get an Xbone in the next two years or so. Enjoy all of your shooters on the Xbone, especially the one Black Tusk will be unveiling in the future. The only genre Sony has had a hard time with was shooters and you know this, but Killzone has always been a solid title. Whether you like it is of no consequence and poking and prodding at it wont change anything. I don't find either console that great to buy at launch, but February is a different story. InFamous is my day one seller.

Hold  up. Im not making myself feel anything.

You made the comment its a shooter game and will sell to the xbox fanbase. Essentially saying its  not a  system seller. At least thats how I understood your post. Sorry if Im wrong.

Killzone is a solid title. Although 3 was pretty mediocre. 2 at least SP was much better. At least to me.

Witthout a doubt though Microsoft has got a better variety on launch. In genres you wouldnt normally asscoiate Microsoft pushing so hard in. So far  Microsoft has  annoucned over 15 exclusives. 2 of which are shooters. annd only 1 Kinect. Ryse does have elements of ack n slash. But also looks like providing a very cinematic driven experience of which games like Uncharted and TLOU are praised for. Theres noting wrong with that from Crytek if  it works to provide an experience.

Uncharted and TLOU are prety mediocre games, but amazing cinematic experiences.Thats why those games are great fun to enjoy. Theres no reeason why Ryse cant end up the same.

Im extremelyy happy with my purchase and variety the Xbox One is providing.

If I misinterpreted your post, its my mistake.

The 360 version is only medium spec, amnd the POINT I think he is making is could the 360 run uncharted 2 or LOU as it is EXACTLY on Ps3 without looking/running worse? Considering both use an advanced technique called MLAA where cell is used to offload performance fropm the GPU, it is doubtfull.

Oh, I guess I missed the part of the running "exactly as the ps3 version". Well, I don't know. I doubt it too. Maybe they can pull wonders like what they did with Halo 4, but that costs a lot of money.

Just to point out, MLAA is chheaper on system resources than MSAA or AA or FXAA. So thats not a god point to use in it not running on 360.

In my experience ( add me on PSN ) of playing alll the top visual exclusives on both platforms is, with recoding obviously Uncharted 3 and TLOU would run on 360 with the same quality. Halo 4, Forza Horizon an Gears 3 look jst a good technically.  Moreso, FH and Halo 4. Then theres Crysis 3. That is also right there on consoles with the games previously mentionned.

No there isnt. ( Also MLAA is the cheapest AA option for resources ).

I have both ( add me on PSN : selnor1983 ).

Halo 4,Forza Horizon, Crysis 3, Gears 3 look as good as any PS3 exclusive.

They do not, this is well known and documented, Digital foundry and other analysis that can be fond with a quick google search.

MLAA is the cheapest yes, thats because consoles cannor do other forms of AA at leasy until this gen. Cell is uses extensively on these ps3 exclusives that really take the load off the cpu alloowing devs to cram higher rest textures, lighting, and effects on PS3 esclusives. GEarslooked goos in 2007...it's not even in the top 10 looking games now unreal 3 was surpassed by many custom engines this gen.,

Uncharted and TLOU medicore games? How? LOU in partiocular has some of the best Stealth, survival, and melee gameplay this entire gen, sorry but cannot take an yomne serious. Funny how not 1 reivew out of 100 mentioned mediocre gameplay.............Sony bought them all right? Please. TRLOU gameplay is better then anything on Xbox, it MP also happens to be great as well. Same goes for uncharted a perfect blend of balls to the wall action, huge set pieces, stealth and platforming. It's rewards speak for themselves and it's not just because of the cinematics.....that's moronic.

You might think that because you sleep with your xbox daily, but no sensible gamer nor gaming media thinks so. So you saying it certainly doesn;t make it so.

Sorry Microsoft, but the only thing selling the Xbone is Titanfall and its not even coming out at launch. Can't blame them for bullshitting, neither they nor Nintendo should say otherwise.

Titanfall seems to have a systemselling style to it, that´s why it´s so good that it  coming six months into the consoles life.

What is the beat em up and hack n slash game? Ryse?

What is the obscure game?
