I found the stealth of TLoU atrocious. Seriously, the gameplay is solid, but the stealth is not

I just played hitman a full stealth game and thet stealth in that game was worse, totally disagree. What was wrong? I never had a single issue. The game also always made you feel vunerable with low supplies and gaving to sneak, use melee often (The melee was excellent), the gunplay is also excellent.

If you're refering to Hitman Absolution, I agree. Beaten it, and the stealth is way too mechanical. You can get past enemies that are next to you just because they're not looking at you, even if your footsteps can be heard.

I don't have a complain about TLoU gunplay or melee. I'm just saying that its stealth didn't tick on me.

What was wrong with it? The only viable complaint I can think of is when your AI companion would run into enemy AI and they wouldn't detect them, but that was a developer decision. I think the stealth is incredible, especially when you have to sneak by clickers. One of the most intense moments I have ever experienced in a game. Sound was all the way up and it was scary as hell.

Its COD with mechs. It could sell any console that has a fanbase that loves shooters. It's addictive pick up and play gaming.

Ironicaally this new gen, Sony fans on this site sem to be touting a shooter ( Killzone ) over any other game. Microsoft have sim racer, Beat em up, Action Open world game, Obscure game, Hack n slash game at launch. The kinds of games Sony fans normally tout. So it should sell to early adopters of Ps4 gamers as they are al sooter fans.

Sony is a lesser known company for shooters. Their first party is all over the place in many genres, you're just trying to make yourself feel better, so humor yourself. Are you mad that Sony launched with a very strong shooter in Killzone? Dead Rising is never a console seller, although its a decent game. Ryse isn't in the hack n slash genre, its a simple action adventure with a battle system more akin to Assassins Creed then Hack-n-slash genre titles like God of War, Bayonetta, or even Ninja Gaiden. Ryse goes like this: *Block* *stab* *chain stab* *block* *slash** QTE*. Forza is the only system seller. Hopefully by the review we'll get a good look at the single player because the multiplayer doesn't look great at all. I'm hoping that it is good because I will be testing out Ryse if I get an Xbone in the next two years or so. Enjoy all of your shooters on the Xbone, especially the one Black Tusk will be unveiling in the future. The only genre Sony has had a hard time with was shooters and you know this, but Killzone has always been a solid title. Whether you like it is of no consequence and poking and prodding at it wont change anything. I don't find either console that great to buy at launch, but February is a different story. InFamous is my day one seller.

Hold  up. Im not making myself feel anything.

You made the comment its a shooter game and will sell to the xbox fanbase. Essentially saying its  not a  system seller. At least thats how I understood your post. Sorry if Im wrong.

Killzone is a solid title. Although 3 was pretty mediocre. 2 at least SP was much better. At least to me.

Witthout a doubt though Microsoft has got a better variety on launch. In genres you wouldnt normally asscoiate Microsoft pushing so hard in. So far  Microsoft has  annoucned over 15 exclusives. 2 of which are shooters. annd only 1 Kinect. Ryse does have elements of ack n slash. But also looks like providing a very cinematic driven experience of which games like Uncharted and TLOU are praised for. Theres noting wrong with that from Crytek if  it works to provide an experience.

Uncharted and TLOU are prety mediocre games, but amazing cinematic experiences.Thats why those games are great fun to enjoy. Theres no reeason why Ryse cant end up the same.

Im extremelyy happy with my purchase and variety the Xbox One is providing.

If I misinterpreted your post, its my mistake.

Are...Are you a comedian?

Those games have pretty standard gameplay. They are great games because of the experience as a whole.

?? No. Name one game that combines the stealth, survival annd brutal melee of TLOU? No game this gen so easily blended platforming, large set piece battles and stealth like uncharted. Sorry, in that case gears and halo are dog boring by comparison.

Hey is just an opinion bro.

I found noting exciting in the gameplay of TOU or Uncharted. They arent bad, jut standard. The cinematic experience of its blend was what makes the game. Att least for me, I didnt hate or love the gameplay.

I found the platforming parts to Uncharted boring and easy.No sense of exploration. Just filler. My opinion.

Totally agree, the clickers being sensitive to sound, made stealth an intense affair., the slightest mistake and you had to scramble.  The stealth and everything about that game is top notch.

Good for you but it is hardly standard. What is halo and gears then.........................................terribly boring? Way more variety in TLOU or uncharted then either. Sorry that's hogwash. TLOU had virtually everything, exploration, salvaging crafting, stealth, one of the best melee engines ever, great gunplay.

*Sneaking past a Clicker*

Character: HEY GUYS WE SHOULDN'T TALK OR THEY WILL HEAR US!

*Footstep footstep footstep*

*Clicker is totally not listening*

Maybe it's nitpicking, but I found it hilarious xD It was like...it wasn't natural. The game was more focused on you fighting than passing through without being noticed. At least during my gameplay, but shhhh. No spoilers, I haven't beaten it yet.

How far are you? I want to know if you've passed a certain level of the game that I thoroughly enjoy.

Sorry Microsoft, but the only thing selling the Xbone is Titanfall and its not even coming out at launch. Can't blame them for bullshitting, neither they nor Nintendo should say otherwise.

Titanfall seems to have a systemselling style to it, that´s why it´s so good that it  coming six months into the consoles life.

What is the beat em up and hack n slash game? Ryse?

What is the obscure game?

Killer Instinct - BEUP

Project Spark/unset Overdrive -Obscure

Nack n slash - sort of Ryse

Oh you are including Sunset Overdrive, a game that's not only hasn't had any gameplay shown, but doesn't even have a release date? If we compare the exclusive titles PS4 and Xbox One have side by side you will find the PS4 coming out on top. I mean, all I really need to mention are three games: Killzone, inFAMOUS and The Order 1886.

Sorry disagre. KZ3 was worse for m than KZ2. It was a pretty game, but prety average. SP was boring.

Infamous, I wasnt a great fan of the first. Better graphics arent gonna solve that.

Te Order 1886 looks intersting though.

Whereas, Fora 5 , Killer Instinct, Zoo Tycoon, Project Spark, Titanfall, Ryse and Dead Rising 3 all have me excited.

Thats my opinion.

WTF? The game was clearly focused  on you sneaking past not the combat, there simply was not enough ammo to go guns ablazing, and the stealth approach was clearly  favoured. As for your complaint? You just described every stealth game ever made.

Footstep??? If you are sneaking yuo don't make any footstep sound, and they are whispering to each other, yes you are nitpicking, it's a game not real life.
