Its COD with mechs. It could sell any console that has a fanbase that loves shooters. It's addictive pick up and play gaming.

Ironicaally this new gen, Sony fans on this site sem to be touting a shooter ( Killzone ) over any other game. Microsoft have sim racer, Beat em up, Action Open world game, Obscure game, Hack n slash game at launch. The kinds of games Sony fans normally tout. So it should sell to early adopters of Ps4 gamers as they are al sooter fans.
