When you pick up your launch day PS4 on November 15/29th, you’ll have a wide range of launch titles to choose from including free-to-play games. One of these free-to-play games launching with the PS4 is Warframe. While it was originally announced as a PS4 exclusive, we now know that its exclusivity is only time based.

The developer explained that the title will be exclusively available on the PS4 for three months. This means that Warframe could come to the Xbox One next year, with the developer now looking at the platform ever since Microsoft’s self publishing 180.

Steve Sinclair  also had this to say:

With how the industry is evolving, this really is the Player Generation. Games are reaching players hands in so many different ways now and Sony gets it, which is why we are bringing Warframe exclusively to the PS4 first. There’s no reason not to download Warframe on day one if you’re an action game lover – it’s free.

was obvious. same with all other indie games sony showed at e3. nowadays microsoft and sony pay everyone for everything. disgusting...

Tis a horrible and underhanded trend that Microsoft has started in the gaming industry. They are turning Sony into money sharks. First timed exclusive moneyhatting then console paid multiplayer. I dont really influence their monetary-based influence at all. Well at least the game will be multiplat. I dont think I can get into all of these shooters at once. I am getting tired of them already. if this is what the western gamer craves so damn much they can keep it. It was never exclusive to the PS4 to begin with because its on PC.

It's out on PC already so its not surprising

Sony broke into the console industry a generation before MS and did it by spending money. Whether it's snatching up exclusives or underpricing the hell out of their hardware. Not surprised to see you try to shift blame elsewhere though. But I don't know why, there is nothing wrong with deals like this. You're playing defense for no reason.

Weird how this is somehow M$ fault.  

I know right? No one is forcing Sony to follow what MS is doing.

MS peer pressured them into doing it.

Warframe is already out on PC, so it's not an exclusive in the first place
