WiiU owners have good taste, Rayman Legends deserves no 1 for sure.
Oh quite surprising start by Legends. Didn't think that the WiiU version would be on top. Though the other versions will surely have the better legs.
Overall still a poor start.
Rayman Legends sold more than Origins did in its opening, and Origins was profitable for Ubisoft. But, fuck logic, game totally bombed.
| ktay95 said: but how do you know what it would have sold back in Feb? WiiU had no games at that time and so Rayman had zero competion, now it has to compete with Pikmin 3, Wonderful Bomba and the rest of WiiU's holiday line-up. not saying it would have been a better idea but its possible.
oh and fun fact, it IS WiiU exclusive... in Japan 0_0 |
Well the WiiU had almost a million sales less in February, which is quite a lot for a newly launched console.

I still have faith that it will be less a bomba then FUSE

We'll know when Capcom decides to give free copies of Bomb Planet 3 on Facebook.

Rayman sales guaranteed a boost of at least one once the definitive Vita ver (extra content and the Wii U features) is released.
Why is everyone(GAF included) saying Rayman bombed, when in the article, it points out that sales were 20% higher than the previous game? Small increase, sure, but an increase nonetheless.

Because the first one did so horrible in its first week that no version cracked the top 40
