e OP,  you are already in Sony's soup but not seasoning.

How do you know he has a PS4 preorder? I mean, everyone has one cause it's so amazing, but still, you can't know for sure.

I was guessing like you're guessing, like I don't have a PS4 preorder.

ohh I was sure you don't have one, you are already in the Sony's hater soup

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Looking back at the Wii library, games like this didn't necessarily sell poorly. MadWorld, which is pretty niche even for its genre, has sold over 0.7 million. And for those who say that the Wii simply didn't support M rated games, note the high sales of Resident Evil 4, a bloody port, the Call of Duty games besides Modern Warfare 3, and even the mediocre sales of a Silent Hill game without any combat.

And if anything, the Wii U is more Mature friendly than the Wii ever was. ZombiU, despite mixed reviews, is the third best selling game on the system.

ZombiU though hasnt made a profit for Ubisoft.

For some reason I feel thats partially their fault for completely scrapping the game and starting from scratch. At E3 2011 the game was Killer Freaks From Outer Space then at E3 2012 it had become ZombiU, I assume that wasted alot of money and caused them to rush the game.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

based on how it did on the X360 and PS3 which have 150m+ sold, i think the wii U will do about 60k lifetime.

Bayonetta 2 will put up decent numbers in worldwide sells. Do not doubt, just believe.

I'll be honest, I don't know much about why it went exclusive. Did Nintendo buy the IP rights or something, or did they buy the entire studio? Either way, I just remember RE4 being a promised GC exclusive and then ending up on PS2/PC.

I think it's sad the dev sold their soul to Nintendo. The fans of the original game are PS3/360 owners, most probably don't even own a Wii U or plan to in the near future. Makes absolutely no sense.

In future, I recommend you look into why something happened before deciding to make big claims about it.

For the record, I have a PS4 preordered and what's keeping me away from Wii U is both price but mostly the stupid gamepad. I think it looks like an oversized controller, looks awkward to use.

And no I'd never buy a console just for one game.

If I can make a prediction it will sell 500K or less in life time. Probably in the 200-400k range.

I agree with op.

I actually think that it's not gonna do too well either, it just left it's existing fanbase to move on to a new unpredictable market. I just don't see wii u players having the same priorities and same demographic as the other two consoles.

I actually find it ironic that Bayonetta became a wii U exclusive, I've allways seen Nintendo consoles to be more family friendly and Bayonetta is definately gonna be offensive game to some moms, kids and internet crusaders cause of the over-sexualized style of the game. :P

I never finished the first game though, its just not my cup of tea. So I don't really care how the sequel does. Hopefully does well enough that platinum games benefits, they do some good games.

So you too don't understand why Bayonetta 2 is Nintendo exclusive, and why it cannot go multiplatform?

I mean... it can't flop as badly as W101, can it?

And it will never go multiplat, get over it already.
