Forums - Nintendo - How the heck are we supposed to reach the 2DS touchscreen?

It looks like it will be awful for games that use the touch screen a lot (Kid Icarus, World Ends With You, etc), but great for games that primarily use the bottom screen as a map or something (like Monster Hunter).

Lol this is targeted for kids according to Nintendo right? Well they have much smaller hands, I don't know how they expect them to reach the touch screen without them having to place that thing on the floor or something.

easy use one hand to hold the 2DS and the other to touch the screen. Its not that complicated. People do it all the time with handhelds :p

You know its bad when people have to forgo common sense in orde to hate on something. Yes its completely impossible to hold it with one hand while using the touch screen with the other...Cause every touch screen game is made for people with 3 hands.

won't be getting it

you just give it back to the store.

Playing Monster Hunter on this sounds like a bad idea. Primarily because the camera is either controlled by a second circle pad via CPP or a d-pad mapped onto the touchscreen. This is clearly meant as a Pokemon machine.

If you really think its fine and we are just looking to hate, why did Nintendo move start and select?

It looks like Nintendo flipped the Wii U game pad and decided to call it the Nintendo 2DS

you don't...if you already have an 3ds or a ds why on earth would you get the same thing...with even worse design??

nintendo needs to come up with new and refreshing systems instead of the same old thing.

the same old thing that will make them alot of money right? TRY AGAIN

Damn, the average shopper must be more stupid than I initially imagined to buy this...brick.
