WWHD does cost more than it should, but it won't matter for me as I'll either buy the bundle or limited edition witht the Ganondorf figurine.

Holy Jezus there's a limited edition with a Ganondorf figurine.

Why didn't I know this? Where are all these bombs coming from today? *Cancelling previous pre-order* *Searches for limited edition to pre-order*

EDIT: Bah can't find it yet, why am I so hyped for a game I already finished three times and is not even my favorite in the series by a long shot?

Because it's the Wind Waker. It has that magical power and the best last boss finishing move in the series!

Love it, will look great next to my sexy black Wii U. 8)

Also, it has the Nintendo Network logo; online leaderboards perhaps?

Diddy has a bag!

Also, they've kept the secret fourth character off the cover, probably so as not to spoil it before the game's Nintendo Direct.

I hope Iits not something lame like playing as ur own Mii, that would suck. Cranky or Crazy Kong would be cool.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Between Rayman, Super Mario World, and Donkey Kong I finally have a good reason to spend time with my girlfriend again :P.

Buyers of the game will be getting ripped off and no opinion will change that.

Wrong.

Opinion determines the worth of the game to them and hence whether they get their money's worth.

I said value, can't you read?

A starving man can buy a loaf of bread for £50, I'm sure that loaf is worth £50 to him, doesn't change the value of the loaf, which is usually about £1.

Value is what itis worth to someone. People don't buy games for the material value of the plastic, they buy them for the software.

Nintendo is getting agressive, I bet this will get them a little ahead of what we thought they would be.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Starving absolutely does change the value of the loaf. That's Econ 101 stuff. Don't confuse value with cost. There's rarely a straight line between the two.

I argued on the value on it in a non opinionated manner, whether someone thinks it is worth $50 or not doesn't change the fact it costs more yet has less value than other HD rereleases.  Buyers of the game will be getting ripped off and no opinion will change that.

I'm not speaking for the world, just reality.

Are you serious right now?  Like, you're honestly trying to argue that value is objective?  No, sir, you're flat out wrong.  also, Wind Waker has a higher metascore and more universal love than ANY of those games that are in the HD remasters.  The highest of all of them is, I think Ratchet and Clank, Up your Arsenal.  Plus, Zelda: Wind Waker is LONGER and has MORE CONTENT than all three Ratchet and Clank games put together.  Longer t han all three Sly Cooper games put together.  Longer than all three Jak and Daxter games put together. so yes, you're wrong.

Also, this is a full remake, not just a graphical upscaling.  Remember the Resident Evil Remake?  same price if I recall correctly. and people ate that shit up like candy.  It's not a ripoff, you need to get your head out of your ass.

In the UK I'm seeing Mario 3D World, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Mario Kart, Smash Brothers and Bayonetta all priced at £45-£50, with Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101 at £30 to £35. Until those prices move down from the £45 range I am not going to buy a Wii U, I'll upgrade to a 3DS XL instead, where the software prices have become more reasonable.

Metal Gear Solid 2 has the same metacritic as Wind Waker, has shedloads of content too and can match WW alone.  It also comes with MGS3 and Peace Walker.  Not that the few points lower some other games are really makes a difference.

WW HD isn't a remake either, that is just flat out false.

Alright, so ONE other upgraded collection matches and beats it.  Cool.  However, saying 'one game is a better deal' is a far cry from 'it's the biggest ripoff of all the hd collections'.  That's like saying "Skyrim is an outstanding deal, therfore all zelda games and all uncharted games and all halo games and all metal gear solid games and all god of war games and all assassin's creed games and all dragon age games are massive ripoffs!"

you're just twisting reality so that you can justify your hate for a 10 dollar difference in price on an outstanding game.

One thing I have to give Nintendo credit for is not instantly charging 60.00 for every single game like the other 2 did. Many early Ps3/360 games really didn't deserve the 60.00 price tag
Of course many people wont let the cheaper games or free online get in the way of their hate.
I've seen some really outrageous post since the price drop was announced.

Not sure what you are eluding to, however when Sony and/or Microsoft remade games in HD they sold them for $40, not $50 like Nintendo or $60 like you are claiming.

This is the short list:

Halo Anniversary was $40

God of War Saga was $40

Ratchet Collection was $40

Sly Collection was $40

ICO/SoTC Collection was $40

God of War Origins was $40

I think I made it pretty clear what I was talking about and it wasnt HD remakes because those werent around at the start of the generation.

Nice fail though

Oh and how horrible of Nintendo to charge 10 more for what amounts to more than just an HD graphics upgrade like the games you mentioned..lmao

Halo CEA was more than just an HD graphics upgrade, can't speak for the rest.
