Not anywhere near enough. This thing sells £50 under RRP in the UK and still no one buys it.

£100 drop would be too much

What's so special about the Zelda gamepad? It only has a couple of small Zelda logos, no special colors or pictures or anything.
That said I really want the bundle. I'm crossing my fingers I will get hold of one. At 300 Euros it's a bargain.
Good move, and with a major game as well is exactly what's needed with a price cut.
Could this be the beginning of the Turnabout?

Might have something to do with lack of software.
With the upcoming lineup later this year, this is enough.
Now they just need to release that update and start advvertising.
Just in time for Wind Waker HD.
I now know when I'll get the console! xD
I thought I'd get a PS4 first (at its launch), but since Nintendo is dropping the price, I'll get the Wii U before the PS4 launches! =)

why?
GameCube was £139 at launch, wii was £179 at launch, cheap is good.

This is a $50 drop after 8 months
The 3DS was a $80 drop after 6 months
You could say the 30 cent VC promotion was our ambassador promotion

Both were sold at a profit at launch, the Wii U was sold at a loss at launch and this price cut probably makes it even / still a loss
So another £50 would mean a big loss
This isn't a huge company like Sony or Microsoft that have other departments to cover losses
