You know in hindsight, it was a bad idea to cancel Nintendo power.
Lots of kids growing up and without knowledge to use the internet learned a lot about Nintendo through that. And with the gaming media pretty much shunning Nintendo, Nintendo power was a way that they could get the news out.

Libraries still have new issues of Gameinformer and EDGE that people read from time to time. Why would they get rid of a way to connect with a wider range of people?

Directs can't do that.
